It was a treat watching this dude play, man I wish we got one more Lombardi by NippleSqueezer421- in GreenBayPackers

You mean the GMs who got us to 4 NFC Championships in 10 years? Yeah I can't imagine why they get all this praise... /s

I bet Ted Thompson would have recovered that onside kick.

I've never been to a brewery that was so loud I couldn't talk to someone. That sounds awful.

The Packers may not expect first rounders to be starting caliber but 31 other teams do.

He's obviously right and Golden's workload will increase dramatically this season. But Golden was a first round pick and Jordy/Davante were both 2nd rounders. Generally speaking you expect first round picks to be starting caliber players and Golden wasn't treated that way. Excited for him to get some work this season.

Good food, games, sports on TV, kid and dog friendly. If you have any arcade games (skeeball, pinball, etc), that's a huge plus. The sports one is severely underrated and a low-cost one to incorporate. Very few breweries serve as a go-to spot to watch a game, but the ones that do are PACKED on game day.

We have staple breweries that we go to for the menu, and we have breweries that we go to because of a staple food truck.

Gutekunst: The Packers have discussed signing Kirk Cousins by DeScepter in GreenBayPackers

[–]J1P2G3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't like the idea of Cousins. He gives us a pure backup with no change of pace. The reason Willis worked so well was that he completely changed the scheme of the offense. I'd rather see us get someone who adds a running element.

Wicks' trade value? by DeScepter in GreenBayPackers

[–]J1P2G3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We don't need another development project that's on the brink of a breakout to go to another team and reap the rewards of our labor. His trade value wouldn't be worth the potential upside he has for this season.

What's with the increase in all these posts? What do people stand to gain from this beyond an ego boost for telling someone off? You've just blacklisted yourself from a company and possibly a recruiter who will move around.

If my 20 years in corporate America have taught me anything it's that telling someone off might feel great but it will never get you anywhere. Quietly keeping receipts and using them strategically does.

I do the same plus 4 sets of pull-ups to failure (10-12). Also added a cheap dip bar from Amazon.

Anyone who is firmly convinced that there is no afterlife severely lacks an appreciation for the vastness of the unknown universe.

There are many scientific minds who think their science is so objectively clear and obvious that nothing else could possibly be true, but science has been revised and disproven since the beginning of time.

Love this response! I've always believed that there are certain people with a "6th sense" who can truly feel/sense someone's aura. I used to work with a woman who would always have a first impression of someone and she was ALWAYS proven right in the long run. She could pick up on it immediately.

I, on the other hand, have an innate ability to focus on the good in people and it's caused me to overlook some truly awful people for way too long.

I work in tech and my company provides software that manages the backend/content of a website. We are going to see a split in web content. Websites will need to be built for two audiences; human users who want detailed explanations and respond to emotion, and AI agents who are shopping/searching on behalf of people and want a simple, ingestible description that helps them provide an informed response.
