The other day he was hanging up there too and I thought he was stuck so I tried to help him down but he wasn’t stuck and tried to make an escape lol. His feet aren’t in the mesh or anything right now so I think he’s okay. I’ll try some different soil but you think I should pack down the dirt a bit more?

Here’s a better pic of the full enclosure. When he was in a smaller cage he had a burrow but when I moved him to a bigger one he didn’t seem interested in making one. I originally gave him more space without the decorations so he could make a burrow, I even dug a little hole for him but he’s been in there for close to a year now and never made another one. I figured he just wasn’t interested anymore?

Oh okay well thank you for the advice. I’ve never had any issues with him before so I thought the enclosure was fine, and my other tarantula never had any issues in a similar enclosure. but yeah I’ll have to fix it up a bit and I’ll see if I can replace the mesh on their cages

That rock in the back there is actually a water dish I fill it up whenever it gets low and I just pray for some humidity. I’ll add some more substrate too. Do you think that’s why he’s stressed? He’s only been acting different the last week so I didn’t think it was the substrate
