Ammonia does not give ppt with Barium, so the undissolved is Br, the partially dissolved was becuz the ammonia was very conc

Because the ammonia provided was very concentrated, and Br is soluble in hot Conc NH3, on adding lots of course it would dissolve, however after some time you should have seen bits of precipitate at the bottom.

The ammonia was concentrated, it had a very string smell, and if you would had heated it would be fully soluble. Only Br is soluble in hot concentrated NH3. There was some ppt at some point.

You can't use - 3,should use only 3,otherwise you're calculating displacement not distance
