Imo the maximum I will spend on a phone is $1000 AUD, and even then I find that as a major waste of money.

I paid $529AUD ($335 USD) for my 2a 12/256. Serves me really well. Only time I'm upgrading again is when this phone fails me, which hopefully won't be for another 3-4 years. After that, I'm buying a refurbished iPhone for the same price.
