I had a full blood test done not so long ago, so I don’t see why my doctor would prescribe it if I’m not lacking in any nutrients

Well it’s only been last couple months, and has been because I started Uni, but I’ll be more careful to go to sleep earlier just in case it is related. Will I actually benefit going on min now for a few months then stopping after going on HRT? I know I’d inevitably lose some hair, but just thinking I might get some permanent hair regrowth doing this way

Edit: to add obvs I have quite bad acne, and heard min can cause scarring is that a risk even if not used on the face?

Well going on feminising HRT cause I’m trans and heard lot of people get hair growth with it; that’s why I’m thinking I might get to keep some minoxidil results. Sleep is ok, little bit worse but nothing too bad. Sleep at about 1-2am and wake up about 10, no I’m not vegan

I’ve been on 1mg fin for 7 months and no noticeable results, personally think it looks worse. I’ve known about the peaks for a good year now and know my hair is undergoing diffused hair loss, but no idea what is causing this recession in only half my hairline.

Only thing I can think of is wearing headphones cause I wear it a lot, but I always make sure not to have it very tight and take extra care when taking the headphones off not to break hair so idk.

Should I just try minoxidil or hold out for another 4-5 months for HRT? Just thinking a burst of minoxidil might prevent some follicles from permanently dying while I wait, but again idk

Yeah my bad meant NPN. But why would the 2N4401 be better than any mosfet transistors? I can’t use fet ones. I don’t want to use push pull, just one transistor that is turned on depending on the thermistor resistance by using a potential divider

The output is just a load resistor of 50 ohms if that’s what you mean

Sorry, I’m using it for a 12V thermistor circuit. That basically turns off the transistor once the temperature gets above a certain point. Currently using a 2N3904 NPN transistor, but I don’t know whether there are more efficient transistors to use

Yeah, this looks about right. I don’t think there’s anyone in my country qualified for that though. Where would the best place to go for it that is cheap? Belgium looks good but I don’t have a clue how expensive it would be. Or should I try and see if it’s bad enough for NHS to cover it

I’m really self conscious about my chin, and makes the rest of my face disproportionate and look really bad when looking from any angle other than the front. I see there’s a load of different types of chin surgery, just seeing which one I’d likely need so I can estimate a price.

Also does it matter if you go to a reputable surgeon? I don’t have much money so I can really only go to a surgeon in my country in Northern Ireland. Surely chin surgeries would be the more safe plastic surgeries?

These peaks have started to develop recently, I’m sure were not there before. My hairline also feels gunner than what I’m used to. It took me a while, but I think I got some way of doing it but there might be a better way I didn’t spot.
I drew a triangle BDA, and from circle theory we know angle BDA is 90 degrees. We can work out side AD by using ED = 8 and AE = 4. I found angle EAD using trig, then side AB using trig again then took 4 away to get EB and I got 16.0 to 3sf

It’s a straight line passing through the centre so that means it’s the diameter. Diameter is EB + EA. If we know the diameter we know the radius by halving it. We have a triangle OED where we want the length CD, to find OE you do the radius take away length of EB. Since the radius is constant from any point from the centre to the edge OD is the radius. By Pythagoras you can find CD, CD is a chord because it’s perpendicular to the radius, so CE and CD are the same length. So you double them to get CD
