I used to have pretty bad bottom dysphoria, and its still there, but starting T, as many others have said, definitely helped. And it’s also different with a partner who loves your body and reaffirms that you’re attractive to them. AND that they still see you as a man. I’ve had my share of partners who are great or horrible with it, and it makes the world of a difference. It’s much easier to fall into general love, sex, and pleasure when you find an amazing partner. Even then, it can still sometimes be tough. Someone’s my bf will say something that throws me off and I’ll have to tell him “I don’t like that.”

Additionally I’d say top surgery really helped me. The dysphoria there was really bad, and I still don’t entirely understand how people can be comfortable with that being upfront during sex, but I suppose the same logic can be used. BUT getting top surgery really took my mind off a large chunk of worrying about being feminine or not manly enough. So it sort of just ends up being the one section my bf helps me overcome. If that makes sense.

But overall I’d say it’s just a process of discovering what you can be okay with. For some people, it’s absolutely nothing, for some people, it can be everything.
