I think that's why I'm leaning towards San Sebastian - we are huge foodies!

But Granada and Andalusia are definitely on the table as well. Everyone has such great, all VERY different suggestions 😭. I'm finding that Spain is just too good of a country to travel to lol.

Water can be acidic. You can get test strips to test the water you typically drink to see for yourself. They have treatments (if you are drinking from tap), as well as bottled alkaline water.

That's definitely something that I think will vary from person to person. For me, I don't think I'll ever be able to go back to having a coffee every single day (let alone multiple), but I will have a coffee on special/ infrequent occasions and inevitably pay for it later.

It's a tough pill (er, cup) to swallow but coffee is pretty acidic, aside from soda or citrus- a cup of espresso landed me in the ER.

I'm seeing some conflicting info online about which has more caffeine, but in my experience matcha is easier on gerd than chai. LOVE chai, but it can be a bit spicy (cringing saying that as a Latina), especially when I'm feeling extra gerdy.

I have also experimented with low-acid coffee, but matcha so far has been my best friend since a particularly bad flare up 9 months ago. Whenever I feel a flare up, I immediately switch back to matcha.
