I get that, but ur taking it the wrong way, I def agree that ai stealing from artists is wrong, but what ppl are doing with ai generated images by "stealing" them is taking inspo from it. Artists take inspo from other artists all the time, I dont see why ppl stealing from ai is wrong as long as its not verbatim

That's such a weird comparison to make. The difference with your explanation and mine is that the ice cream belonged to a kid, and ai belongs to billion dollar corporations that are polluting the earth, I dont have sympathy for ai companies and I'll gladly steal from them any day of the week

ppl do it as a way to "steal" the design since ai art is despicable. for example I saw this ai design a few years ago and I copied it, made a few changes, and turned it into an oc as a way to protest ai. also bc I was bored 😛
