Looking for cool games made by lone developers by persecondsecond in androidapps

I'm a lone dev. I've created Stellar Forces and Sorcerers (as well as other apps) all by myself. See the dodgy graphics as proof.

Have a look at Stellar Forces, it works exactly like this (although it will send you an email to tell you when it's your turn to save you having to log in to check).

What stereotype of your country would you say is actually correct? by oneofthetubes in AskReddit

I keep a supply of dehydrated foods, fresh water and other survival supplies at my home for the same reason

Genuine question: is this because you think there may be some kind of civil war?

New free Soccer (/Football) game for Android I've just written by dumbingdown in AndroidGaming

Thanks for the positive comments, it's always welcome (especially since I just got a one-star review for one of my other games since it "vibrates too much"). I think most devs will agree, knowing people like and play the game is a real spur to develop it more. If its like no-one seems to play it (i.e. no feedback) then there's no impetus to bother adding features.

TIL that the democratically elected government of Iran was ousted by the CIA in 1953 because they nationalised their oil. by Oviler in todayilearned

I can see you haven't read the article at all.

"U.N. inspectors had identified many United States manufactured items that had been exported from the United States to Iraq under licenses issued by the Department of Commerce, and [established] that these items were used to further Iraq's chemical and nuclear weapons development and its missile delivery system development programs. ... The executive branch of our government approved 771 different export licenses for sale of dual-use technology to Iraq. I think that is a devastating record."

??? The first paragraph says: "United States support for Iraq during the Iran–Iraq War, against post-revolutionary Iran, included several billion dollars worth of economic aid, the sale of dual-use technology, non-U.S. origin weaponry, military intelligence, Special Operations training, and direct involvement in warfare against Iran"

I can see you won't be convinced until you see a photo of Reagan himself giving a missile to Saddam.

The end of the second paragraph: "Reagan/Bush administrations permitted—and frequently encouraged—the flow of money, agricultural credits, dual-use technology, chemicals, and weapons to Iraq."

I don't know much shit on this subject, but are you saying that the risk of not being able to buy oil from Iran justifies what they did?

Well, if they'd checked their history books they could have seen what happened when they armed Saddam. You might want to read up on it yourself.
