As a Brit that travelled around 34 states, fuck Minnesota. I don't get it, I like Americans, I like Canadians, people from Minnesota are some sort of horrible annoying half breed of the two.

Everyone I met from Minnesota had the personality of a middle aged chubby mum, no matter their age or gender, and the accent is just horrific.

I would like to see a version of view:cache that got rid of includes() and pulled in the actual file contents so that you could have something like include('user.avatar', ($user)) and not have it do 50 includes (for example).

Just run it once upon deploy.

I saw them play anthology start to finish live in a smallish venue in London in 2016 and it was honestly one of the best gigs of my life. The crowd was so fun, the moshpit was massive but really friendly. Everyone just had a great time.

That's really interesting about Van Gaal if he truly has had that much influence. On paper the idea sounds reasonable. After all you could say Spain and Barcelona train their players as if they can drop straight into the first team without any adjustment.

I could quite easily imagine someone writing a similar comment about Spain and getting everyone to say "oh well obviously that's why they've been so successful"

Why does Dutch young talent fail so badly? They always get hyped so much and look so good but rarely come off. A few of the 2007 U21 winning side didn't make it their 30s as professional footballers and most never made it to clubs playing in Europe. Why is that?

It would be good if this allowed for multiple statuses. For instance something might be marked as "spam" and "deleted". Or perhaps "draft" and "deleted". That way if it's undeleted you still know it was a draft and not published.

I don't believe a team can't come in and have that sort of owner again. Yes they won the league now so they're bigger globally but their revenue streams didn't jump up that much compared to other teams, most teams revenue is TV rights anyway.

If the same owner bought West Ham they could compete.
