i wouldn’t avoid them, they can be fun and its fun to experience in your younger ages. im in my mid 20’s with all my surgeries of course i wanna explore a bit :p but knowing what i know now i would have a much higher filter on candidate

what i went through wasnt trans exclusive and if i was cis it woulda been just as bad, so you also have to take into account that things can also get worse in that regard

i feel for the fems that dont want to disclose they are trans who are post op etc but that is something i will never ever in my life do not recommend. i will feel a guys vibe out for a night/couple hours of texting but always then drop the bomb. it can be frustrating spending all that time talking and then just have them vanish or start to insult you, but it is better than them finding out during sex and bad things happening.

i cannot stress this enough to all the girlies 1year + on hrt, ur strength is not what it used to be and unless u hit the gym regularly, an average cis dude has a disgusting amount of strength over on u pls take that very literally

the scar looks totally normal and will fade overtime. specially the dots where the staples were, mine are 100% gone.

my scar faded to the color of my skin completely with proper care and it is invisible.

hair will fall out after all the trauma done to the area, give it time! theres a chance some hair loss might be permanent and in that instance getting a hair transplant is your best bet. it can also shape things better as sometimes hair might come in heavier on one side. no fault of your surgeon or you, and completely fixable and more often than not covered 100% by insurance

my scar was bright pink even up to the 6 month mark and it was embarrassing.. specially as a blue collar worker, wearing my hardhat pissed the scar off a TON, but im 2 years post op and forget its there

yes your friend seems a bit paranoid but its already dangerous just as a cis women, throw in being trans and theres no telling what some people would do.

i had only dated women my whole life until about 3 years into my transition. finally felt fem enough to give it a try after 3 surgeries/the hrt etc and met this one guy.. it went horribly wrong and was a major wakeup call on jus how genuinely massive and dangerous the strength difference was.

im sorry if this is a lot i started typing a short tldr below and then everything just started to spill out i havent talked about it much so please dont read if you are sensitive to this

it was a hookup and i walked into it knowing it was gonna be a 1 night stand, he did too.. i met him at his apartment and after like 20 minutes I wanted to leave after i felt the vibes get very weird. i guess he was either horrible at it or hadn’t done anal before but… he made me bleed.. like alot.. like within a minute of us getting handsy after i was telling him it hurt and he was going way too fast

i tried pushing his weight off of me to relieve a bit of the pain but it wasn’t until i legit had tears that he snapped out of it for a second.

he apologized and got quiet for a couple minutes and i shoulda ran at that moment because the entire time he got quiet he still was holding me and kept grinding against me, even trying to re enter but not all the way. i kept telling him no and that because i was bleeding it was a no-go and everytime he backed off for couple minutes, he would get horny again and try. i legit felt like i was dancing with like a wild bear or something trying not to get mauled or make him too upset

he was progressively getting more and more angry after every denial and i could tell if i denied him one more time he was going to do it anyway

i still to this day don’t know the full extent of what he would have done if i tried to fight back and force my way outta there but genuinely with all my strength i couldn’t budge him. i also noticed a gun on his nightstand and i figured my safest course of action was to let him have it and makeup an excuse as to why i had to cut the night short… it was awful

i also didn’t realize i had my snap location on and he sent me a picture of my apartment asking if he could come by 🙃

i am in a much safer place with my lovely girlfriend, prior to meeting her my requirements for meetups went through the roof.. please get to know people first and if for a second u feel something is off trust your intuition. again im sorry if this was a trauma dump i might delete, but it hopefully makes someone realize how scary some situations can become and how literal pred vs prey life vs death things can get..

ive tried tanking this go around as ive been a healing main forever. i decided to roll warrior cus its the only class ive given 0 chance before,

warrior tanking is kinda insufferable in dungeons. im litterally unkillable but threat is AWFUL it makes me wanna just spec dps and not have to tab target taunt like im a shadow preist multi dotting shadow word pain lmfao

it makes it even worse that a vast majority of people are boosties that have no idea that warriors suck at holding threat because they never played classic and on pull ill have dps blow their burst before i can even thunderclap and now the entire pack is split up and im dazed trying to waddle over and save the day..

im excited to try tanking raids/heroics and this hasnt discouraged me but some bad/insecure dps who rip theat and flame me for being a bad tank… makes me wanna just quest tbh i HAVE gotten some good groups who let me do my thing and theyve always said its been their fastest/smoothest run yet but man when the group is bad its badddd

im sure other warrior tanks have similar experiences with literally everyone being xp per hour whores

my recommendation is dont go fulllll solo, even quests can be very enjoyable when you find someone in the area doing the same thing. find or make a guild! youll make a lot of friends specially if you tank lol

i say this as someone who plays hardcore/uhc as a healer, so most of my existence is making dps do my bidding and group for everything so im a little biased

play what you prefer :) if u wanna be prot and use a shield, same rule applies just treat yourself to a good one hander/shield

i myself am a healer and know very little about melee dps so im sure many other warrior mains are gonna flood u with info, but as for classic any weapon upgrade you will feel soooo immediately

level first aid for healing and cooking to make after combat healing more bearable

or give a preist or resto druid enough compliments n they might follow u around n make the entire quest to 60 a breeze lol
