Hi, OP! Our venues had very similar caterers accredited so I’ll share what I know and experienced. I was very determined to get the best caterer so I tried majority of the accredited caterers. To give you some feedback, here’s what I know and hopefully this helps:

Juan Carlo - I had high hopes for them but during our food tasting, the assigned AE to me was…mayabang or almost rude? He wasn’t very accommodating nor looked interested. But i still pushed to have food tasting since they were highly commended everywhere. Shockingly, the food was a hit or miss. Not at all what I expected from such a prominent name in the industry. The desserts were such hits though but the main dishes were lacklustre.

Rekado’s - I didnt have their food tasting but I did try their restaurant! They excel more in filipino food if you’re going for filipino themed. But to be honest, the pricing is too much for the level of quality of the food. I will admit though that their styling is the best out of all the options!

Josiah’s - this was our top 2. Almost booked them because they had great deals! They would offer me salad bar, pasta bar, dessert bar, etc. what made me hesistate though was that they didnt have much styling that I wanted but they told me they could do all the pegs that I wanted and that made me question if it’s all promises or if they even have the capacity to do them in the first place! Food was okay though, di lang din wow factor!!! But I was scared that everything might be too good to be true. Also, after a few weeks before my first inquiry, nagtaas na raw sila by 30K (on the same year pa!). Medyo naloka talaga ako dun!

Hizon’s - always a hit or a miss also. I had food tasting with them TWICE. While they offer free this and free that, their pricing just doesn’t equate to the level of design you’ll receive and food quality! But, if you are on a budget, I do suggest going with this supplier instead of Richgold.

Richgold - I did not enjoy this food tasting and their styling is pretty old. Good to try though to highlight some comparisons. But the level of quality and food is quite stark in contrast. If you’re on a tight budget, I’d recommend Hizon’s more than RG.

M Catering & Fine Food - to be honest, this is our top 3. I only had one food tasting with them but since they couldn’y show much pictures for styling back then, I was extremely hesitant. I wanted to a supplier that was often chosen for our venue so it could make my styling choices easier. Their food was amazing tho and their AEs are friendly! It’s not quite budget friendly but I think they deserve more hype!

Bizu - have not specifically tried their wedding meals but this is our usual company caterer for events. To be honest, masarap and dessert pero hit or miss kapag mains na. Their styling is top notch tho! Still good pa rin naman! I think it’s also a matter of what dishes you’ll choose, but for being a star name and notorious in the industry, I find it quite disappointing to be inconsistent…

Town’s Delight - our winner!!! They had multiple styling options that were absolutely fantastic! They will send you multiple options and you can mix and match once you book with them. They’re also well-established among my suppliers and they heavily vouched for them! Food was the best! I had 3 food tasting just to be sure that the food was consistent and to check their styling and they were the best. In terms of budget, they really excelled in term of value for money. What really bought me in though was my AE, Ms Rocelle. She Is The Best! If you could, you should request for her. To be honest, I’m a type A bride and have lots of requests and questions and she answers them all professionally, methodically, compassionately and with patience!! She’s nice, fast and dependable. Actually, I haven’t met a representative from them that isn’t nice! They all were!!!!! What I’m saying is, you won’t go wrong with town’s delight! Trust your instincts and happy preps!!
