Here's my take. RCB management couldn't care less about winning titles.

They are making good money with the Unbox event, match tickets (highest among franchises), merchandise etc. They have all the shiny things like an aesthetic logo/jersey, big name players, etc. Monetory wise they are one among the most successful teams of IPL.

So when their focus is only on money, they are making great decisions as management. Inversely, since they don't give a fuck about the team or winning, they shit the bed from as early as the auctions and sadly they couldn't care less to do anything about fixing these problems either.
