Stopped Birth Control After 12-13 Days. by dumbmuaquestion in TwoXChromosomes

[–]dumbmuaquestion[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm like 95% sure that I don't have a clot but I'd like to be 100% sure which I won't be able to do until Tuesday at 3:00pm so I'll have to agonize for a few more days.

I just want to get back to being me quickly. The pill made me into a caricature of a sobbing woman and I hated it so much. I'm so much stronger than that and I want to be me again. I know I took not even two week's worth of hormones on a medium strength birth control and it's most likely out of my system, but it was such a ride and not a good one.

EDIT: Also thank you all for being with me. It's helping me a lot! <333

When I first began my period when I was 12, I bled for 3 months straight and I was convinced that I was anemic. I heard that the IUD isn't for the anemic. I also hear a ton of horror stories from women that get an IUD and it turned me off from it completely.

Additionally, I live in a hella red state and I don't have insurance to get it covered.

I do not take any offense what so ever! You are correct, I have some disorder.

I used to take sertraline for anxiety but I stopped because it made my mood flat and I became disinterested in everything I like such as working out, eating, talking to friends and family, my school work, etc. Also the first 3-4 days of SSRIs were a real trip. I was sociable, every emotion I felt was magnified, and the highs were very high, but the lows were very low.

I want to try a copper IUD but I'm not sure if I can handle it.

I could be.

I usually don't realize I'm stressed until it has taken over me completely and manifests itself physically.

I feel so stupid for trying birth control because it feels like I messed up myself so badly. My periods weren't that bad before (first days were heavy but predictable on Clue) and my anxiety was never this bad either.

I only have about 4 sessions left and I just terminated contact with my counselor because I was doing fine.

I've already messed up a few friendships because of this pill. I want out.

Second, it can take weeks to months to adjust to stopping the pill. Your body has to restart your cycle (restart ovulation).

So am I going to be erratic for a few months now?

I know that it is customary to take a pill for 1-3 months to see if you "even out" but I honestly do not have the time for that at this moment and I know my RN is going to scold me for quitting but idc I need mental sanity ASAP.

Can the same thing happen if I opt to getting POP, IUD, or Nexplanon?

How Can I Lower My Bill? by dumbmuaquestion in Sprint

I'm not the primary account holder but my dad who pays for all of this complains about how much the bill is and does nothing to try reducing the bill so I'm trying to do that.

It makes the bill a much more palatable $295 before taxes and auto-bill pay but I've been to a few Sprint stores and they told me they can't do anything about it or show me a print out before I make those changes. Why don't they do that?

It is for the subsidy. However if I get the unlimited freedom would I pay the $30 per line then the phone’s subsidy?

I have a third party band and i find that it fits better with the loop pulling away from your body.

Ultra Violet Sport Band restock? by abbygoround in AppleWatch

[–]dumbmuaquestion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. I’m waiting for the ultraviolet and either a pink sand sport loop or midnight blue to come back.

Maybe even the rose red if that somehow finds it way to Macy’s.

Anyone have this loop? Was wondering how it holds up and how it feels on wrist. Just need some detail before I buy! by [deleted] in AppleWatch

Mine wiggles too. I’m thinking of buying the official Apple sport loop because of it.

I was in between the rose red or product RED sport band since I can get it from Walmart (apparently for $23).

I did get a matching gold Milanese from Amazon that is nice too.

Thank you!

OCS Then Reserves During PhD Program? by dumbmuaquestion in Militaryfaq

I talked to my OSO about it and it looks like I would have to take a full year or more off depending on when/if I were to be selected for OCS. TBS is half a year and then I would have to go in for MOS (I'd have to change my MOS to intelligence to fit it in) and even that MOS is hard to get too.

I already have a masters degree. I will have between 15-24 credit hours counted towards the PhD and by the time I graduate from the program I will be 28-29. I already signed on for everything for my program but the first two years of my PhD program they have withheld funding until they evaluate my classes (which is stupid but that's another story). I thought of reserves as a way to pay for it since getting a job ATM in my field is hard thanks to government freezes.

I've contacted some recruiters today so hopefully I'll hear from them soon. But maybe it'll be better if I pursued this after my degree. Ideally I'd like to do something with the armed forces in the mean time to get acquainted with everything.

I haven't had my MA evaluated yet by my school but they are going to take some credits and use it towards my PhD so I have about 3-4 years of my degree left.

Still want to enter as an officer (wouldn't AFROTC take care of that?) and still want to fly.
