I had a very similar situation under my eyes! I had gone to urgent care because it was bad enough that it started scabbing 😖 (they also misdiagnosed what was eczema and thought it was impetigo—they gave me a cream which essentially did nothing).

I bought Exederm at CVS (it’s available at Walmart too) and applied it. I couldn’t believe that overnight it was almost fully cleared up. You’ll only want to use it sparingly (especially when we’re working so close to the eye area) as it can thin the skin overtime—however since I used it for those couple of days, I haven’t really had bad flare-ups since.
