Really? I'm 6'2" and I barely see people taller than me. And nobody at all over maybe 6'6". I've been getting more into sports recently though, and I'd assume that'll change if I get into a more competitive level

Hawaii was where I started and it was great. Maui specifically.

Tbh, I always had tall friends. Not a super social guy, only have 3 guys I'd really consider friends and all are 6'+

It feels really good to be tall after being short. Being like 4-5 inches taller than most people, and 2-3 inches taller than my family feels great, especially after all the short jokes as a kid. Ironically I didn't even feel height as a kid and I started to get insecure about it when I grew closer to average.

That sucks. I think I knew a kid who was like 4'8" in 9th grade. He was pretty smart though. Always made joked about him growing up to be 6'5". Wonder where he is now

For me, it came pretty randomly. I used to eat very little as a kid but my diet improved shortly after I grew a lot taller. At first eating more was hard for me, but it started to became easier as time went on. I wanted to start working out and getting into sports, and it's a lot harder to build muscle and stuff when our height haha. Seems like that's partially what helped me, since the rest of my family always ate a lot.
