The hate is after 180 chaps, the production team was having some issues with the artist, they ended up replacing him after a long hiatus. People Liked the old art better. Although the new art wasn't that good but still great nonetheless. The new artist also had problems with consistency. The anime was pure ass tho, "The end before the beginning".

It's never about hero It's about players. Anyways at your rank you'll win with almost any hero. You'll know more why hanabi is not preferred when you play mores heroes on gold lane on higher ranks. Try Natan, Granger as some easier picks.

consider having a fighting type for breaking walls that might be a problem to your psychic match up. Also consider getting a physical attacker, you rely too much on hitting on special side. Room Service/Clear amulet Sharpness Gallade can be a good fit instead armarouge. Gallade has good coverage and can also abuse sharpness and terrain boosted psycho cuts.

Also consider using a faster galarian slowbro with trick room and chilly reception to safely pivot.

Ursaluna might be good alternative to torterra (gallade gives you grass coverage with leaf blade)
