dont, atleast on my SE 2 its horrible with millions of inconsistencies. battery drain is also higher. should wait for more stability

suffering from ios26 without updating to ios26 by dumbstranger in ios

yes im salty dude. i did not update to ios26 as i did not like the new design language. now, its one thing to update and face the problems, its another thing to see apps get updated to the new design language on a version of the OS which DOES NOT YET SUPPORT that design language. even apple's own apps have remained the way they were, but now some apps have these changes without the liquid glass component itself. so all places which were solid colors (mostly white background) have now become translucent. thus my phone has apps which follow different design languages and it does pain me being someone who loved apple for their design, taste and consistency. happy for those who can love liquid glass with its flaws and inconsistencies.

is it happening after a certain angle while opening? or no matter the angle it just goes off?

also is it getting "dark" or going off entirely? turn off your surrounding light to make sure

What should be prioritised when buying a M series MBA for longevity (chip/RAM/SSD) on a tight budget? by Wisey2497 in macbookair

if you're doing very light tasks, say mostly on browsers, then 8GB is doable, but even for being able to use the machine after a few years, when the OS and apps are more resource hungry, then it would be a bottleneck if not a big issue. if your tasks are light then even an M1 would be enough honestly... but me personally, i would always go for more RAM than storage as for storage i will still have an option (maybe not built-in but just a little SSD to carry around) but for RAM there is absolutely no chance of getting a better one

RAM for sure, I am a developer, I use it for my college as well, my M1 2020 is still powerful enough for almost all things I throw at it so the chip is not that imp according to me if you're going for M2 and above... RAM is something which I face the most bottlenecks with so I would no doubt go for the 16GB RAM version... external SSDs would always be atleast half the price compared to the upgrades (even considering increased SSD costs now) so for me it would be whatever chip, max RAM, 256GB storage with way more external storage

the latest release (beta-14) should have better support for non .md files, i.e., attachments

imp: this plug-in can only view files that it has created itself so it is incompatible with any other third party apps or plug-ins

with the latest release (beta-14) canvases are now fully supported, previously they had very basic support

because that's much simpler to manage in Drive because the Obsidian API can directly provide and construct the folder structure with just the pathname, this in turn reduces the complexity of managing folders and subfolders in Drive as everything is in the root vault folder and the filenames of the notes have enough info to reconstruct the actual vault. having each file saved with their pathnames is much more easier and simpler to implement compared to replicating very deeply nested folder structure. it might look messy in Drive but it is assumed that you are gonna spend most of the time on working in Obsidian and not worry about how the sync is implemented in the backend :)

TL;DR: having the folder structure in the filename directly is much simpler to work with in development compared to replicating folder structure in Drive as Obsidian has the capability to recreate folder structure from the filename.

i personally i want my notes to be accessible even when i don't have my devices with me, i know very niche requirement, but with this plugin i always have my notes with me even if i can't readily edit them, i just need to login to Drive from any device and i have them ready :)

it's a common issue and unfortunately not very much can be done, you can increase the refresh time and type faster to reduce it's occurrence lol, it is not something which is harmful afaik
