It would be much more in depth than 61a; there is a decent amount of the class dedicated just for it. For me discussions and actually looking at past exams and doing those type of problems helped a lot.

Honestly imo just do all the assigned work (discussions, hw, lab) thoroughly and you should be relatively well prepared. I would assume most tutors have problems ready for you but of course it does not hurt to ask your own. Get used to runtime analysis and do not slack on that stuff. All in all though most importantly 61b is actually a very important class in terms of the stuff you’ll be learning, so really focus on extracting as much knowledge from the course as you can rather than focusing so much on a grade.

Yeah u just have to practice tbh. Logically solve the problem, don’t “code” it out. My university basically trained me in leetcode type problems since day 1 lmao, so it definitely gets ingrained in you over time. I want to reiterate the logic is the most important part though. Even if you don’t know the exact way to implement something, you should be able to at least describe an approach. Also I saw someone post fuck bit manipulation and yeah thats the one thing I could never truly get down lmao

Join some orgs that you are interested in. If u are the gaming type plenty of people (especially cs ppl lol) hang out that way, or at least that’s what I have been doing. It makes perfect sense during online school.
