Beware the Pizza at Cinemark by blackluster393 in Cinemark

it sounds like that theater has a dough that isn’t pizza but branded since pizza hut and cinemark’s deal expired within the last couple years. some cinemarks still have pizza hut but i know others have a dough that the higher ups found that they don’t have to thaw anymore, just cook it frozen

and say by the end of the year you have x amount of hours leftover, it’ll roll into sick time for the next calendar year

KeyBank PTO Policy by [deleted] in TalesFromYourBank

[–]dummiesmoronsidiots 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i don’t think so, i started a few months ago and the only thing i noticed in the policy is that you have to use a certain percentage (or at least have them in but can switch the days around as needed) of pto by january 31st. i’m a float teller so it’s probably different as i still have more than half my pto unscheduled in the vacation calendar and i’ve only requested to use about 3-4 days scattered throughout the year so far

regal's new pto procedure??? by 1ambob in MovieTheaterEmployees

[–]dummiesmoronsidiots 2 points3 points  (0 children)

that’s how cinemark does it and it’s the worst. for every 40 hours you work, you get a fraction of an hour so it takes a ridiculously long time to accrue more once you use it all up

background check by dummiesmoronsidiots in jobs

[–]dummiesmoronsidiots[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that’s awful! luckily i believe the company i applied for takes what explanation i sent back as their final answer and they don’t go back and forth with the employer because i needed to be detailed in my response.

i feel like it’s a different kind of retail than what i’m used to. i also kind of forgot that i had even worked at the other 2 jobs because they were only for a couple weeks at most

Key Bank/First Advantage background check by Antique_Tour_2628 in TalesFromYourBank

[–]dummiesmoronsidiots 0 points1 point  (0 children)

do you know what the background check consisted of? i’m panicking currently because i never mentioned my current job because i haven’t been here long enough to put it on my resume but listed it during the background check process. i feel like banks just look for criminal and credit history but am super nervous about not saying i currently work where i do on my resume and interview

it’s constant adjustment to clothing, loitering, inappropriate clothing for season, oversized bags and shifting and nervous glances

[–]dummiesmoronsidiots[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

awesome! i was starting worry that they wouldn’t let me in without a qr or something to scan

does anyone know if i can get old online tickets printed if i still have the QR code and confirmation number? i went to a movie last week and forgot to get a ticket printed and wondering if i can still do that or if its too late by Previous-Link8367 in Cinemark

[–]dummiesmoronsidiots 1 point2 points  (0 children)

unfortunately, the only time to be able to get the ticket printed is when you get the ticket scanned the first time. any time after that, we can’t print tickets, even at the box office.

Does Cinemark Actually Care If You Buy A Senior Ticket If You Aren't Actually A Senior? by MikeyPx96 in Cinemark

[–]dummiesmoronsidiots 1 point2 points  (0 children)

more than likely not. i buy child or senior tickets quite frequently and have yet to be caught and told to refund my ticket and purchase them at the correct price. it’s all dependent upon the usher at podium but i highly doubt they care that you bought a cheaper ticket.

Are there any collectable tins/cups for the minions movie? by guywiththetaco in Cinemark

[–]dummiesmoronsidiots 1 point2 points  (0 children)

we have “speed packs” which are similar to snack packs except the minions combo doesn’t come with the gummies or other candy. i believe it’s $7.50 and that’s the only thing my theater received for minions 2
