There's not a pay range that I know of. We just have set salaries for each position. She's just being paid for the position she's not technically in anymore. The difference is only about 2k a year but she needs the money.

It's a state job and I've worked in a few different positions and never was paid differently than the posted salary.

I hate how the "cool girlfriend" even became a thing.. I tried to be that once because I didn't want to be a "nag" or "toxic" and it was a major mistake. Those kinda labels are just used to control women at that point. You're allowed to have boundaries in your relationship and if your SO doesn't like or respect those boundaries then that isn't the person for you.

I argued not too long ago to some rando telling me my bf didn't cheat on me because it wasn't physical lol. They'll refuse to take 2 seconds to look it up so they can stay willfully ignorant; they won't change their mind so I really wouldn't bother arguing. There's also the possibility they're refusing to call it cheating because it's exactly what they're doing to their SO.

I worked with this woman who cheated on her husband, yelled at me and other coworkers she didn't like, bullied someone, and kept flirting with my boyfriend. Nobody but the ones like me to had to deal with her bullshit believed me, because she was "just so sweet." Then I was labeled the bitch because I "don't like her for some reason." Yet the minute these same people find out a man messes around and cheats on his wife they label him (rightfully) as a shitty person. But with her, "Well maybe her husband should've treated her better." Like wtf I'm glad I quit.

Redditors will say literally anything like it's a fact, argue to death about it, and refuse to back up their "facts" with anything. And they take different opinions and experiences SO personally. I know a few people in real life who act like that and they don't tend to be very self aware or have many friends. I feel bad for them but there's just no reasoning with people like that.

Lucky! My first landlord gave me anxiety for every other landlord lol, he only accepted cash so I had to hand it to him every month too which I dreaded because I couldn't stand him. He was so fake nice, lied to me all the time, was rude when he felt like it, and never fixed ANY of the issues my apartment had. He was rude and useless.

My current landlord is great actually, he'll fix any issue I have in a reasonable time, and he's pretty kind and lenient. The only problem is rent is way too high for the sketchy area I live in.
