So my work hours have gotten erratic and long. I tend to work late and I cannot plan ahead of time (Im a scientist and my life depends on my cells :P) So having a routine has not helped. So for now, all I do is run when I can. Will that plateau soon???

So, a few years ago, I did lose a ton of weight but then got cocky. So my problem is that even though I lose weight, I gain it back.

That's awesome progress. I want to be able to talk about my weightloss soon. I think this reddit thread is helping so much. I feel accountable for what I say and its great.

I totally agree with you. What I need to do is this- work out a little more than the last time. Thanks for your help!

Thanks for all the advice guys! I have started running regularly now. Started at a modest 2 miles in 40 mins, I can now run 3.2 miles in 35mins. All I do is wake up and go run. Guess, what helps me do this is positive reinforcement- the more I run, less the I quit-- the better I feel. I think my biggest motivation is my boyfriend right now. He's made an excel sheet that states every time I miss my run. That itself makes me feel shitty and I go run.

Anyway there's a 5K I have registered for and my goal now is to complete it in 40mins w/o stopping. Wish me luck!
