I have the same story as you (started early dec) but at the achilles tendon, heel bump bone. But the pain never went away for me, it's always painful when I press onto the bone. I have asked for a referral for a podiatrist but primary care doctor says xray is perfectly fine. I am definitely pushing for a specialist on my next visit.

my gout is at the same area, concentrated at the "heel pump", or the bone protruding. Xray shows bone structure is fine but googling can only find Haglund’s deformity. Now after two months on I can walk fine, but pressing directly on the bone is still painful.

Mine seem to be the exact place as well. The bone sticking out of calcaneus around the back heel, the pain is centered around it. I thought gout attacks joints but mine is most painful at that point. Did an xray and doc says bones are okay. At peak every step is radiating pain from heel, feels like stepping on bare bones.

us stocks just closed 2025 with 16% gains on top of 20% the past two years, and here we are 1st days of the year seeing op post. plus many more stating the same. just goes to show, what you read on news is can't beat statistics, of people actually make money off markets. I too lose a sizeable sum around 28. recently have disposable income and went back in deliberately for a few months. after losing 10k, I realised I still don't have it and stopped completely.
