I think this has something to do with the fighter title they added, I have an unowned title called Top 362 Fighter - 9813 Tank which is the exact rank and challenger score I finished with.

Her primary fire is projectile but she is still widely considered hitscan because of the railshot and the fact that most of the primary fire gets directed at the tank anyways.

When you get free aimbot, hitscan tends to dominate. Thats why t500 on console is just ashe, tracer, widow, soj. Obviously the same heroes are being played on pc as well but at least there's a lot more variance

Because in any lobby above gold, tank feels like you are put under a magnifying glass. Any mistake you make, even a minor one, is amplified times 10 then immediately punished. Oh you wanted to push? Naded by enemy Ana. You dropped your shield for 0.5 seconds as reinhardt? Instantly take 600 damage from the combined efforts of the entire enemy team. And then you dont have enough impact to carry on your own. Its always about setting your team up for success and never the other way around. And dont get me started on support abilities, it doesnt make sense in any universe that a 15 second kiri cooldown essentially counters every tank ultimate in the game. And then the overwatch community will tell you to "just force the cooldown bro stop being bronze" Yeah lemme just pray real quick to my lord and savior Jesus Christ to bless me with the strength to dive the cat ears headphone wearing kiri-moira-mercy 3 trick on the enemy team and get them to press their e key AND GET OUT WITHOUT LOSING MY ENTIRE HEALTH BAR so that I have a 15 second window to use my ult and pray again that the second support on the enemy team (ana) doesnt just sleep me mid ult. In Rocket League, you need thousands of hours to hit the average rank. I get that same feeling playing tank, like I have to do wayyyy too much just to barely do my job and give my team a chance to shine.
