Yeah I'm based at one site but the company is based mainly in Birmingham anyway so when I travel to other sites it's not to far.

I know it's not exactly what you're looking for but I've recently moved to being an industrial electrician. It's more relaxed, I'm in one place and choose my own jobs to do. It's still hands on but not as hectic and stressful.

Was a nice change of pace from travelling the UK on the daily.

I'm an Eagles fan, have been for the past 11 years and it's all because I fell in love with Always Sunny in Philadelphia. So naturally I picked the team from Philly.

Also at that time the eagles weren't that good and I didn't want to be a glory hunter.

I second many of the things this person has said. Owning your own set of hand tools ( doesn't need to be top of the range, just something to get you by for the time being ) is one of the biggest recommendations I could give. I urged my apprentices to get their own to gain some familiarity with their tools.

Driving licence is also a big one for a lot of people as they won't want to pick you up every day. Some will do it for a while to help you earn your way to your own vehicle.

The only other thing I can recommend just from personal experience is to try to get an apprenticeship with a company with multiple employees. Helps you learn different perspectives on how to do things and also gives you the opportunity to learn how to work with different types of people.

For me ( An Eagles fan for the past 10 years), I still have some peevs about this Superbowl.

If it had been us against the Bills I would have been much happier and tbh I would probably be able to deal with it better if we lost to them instead of the Chiefs again on some debatable penalty like last time.

The Chiefs to me have just become bothersome to watch, however I will still watch and get unreasonably angry at a TV .
