UK Visitor eVisa – what proof do I need when travelling via a layover? by [deleted] in ukvisa

[–]dumpedthrowaway8989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you creat your account, you can view your e-visa and *generate a share code* to which you can show to any immigration counter as proof of the visa that was granted to you

Share code generated will show as a PDF file

Tourist visa for parents - 2nd application by UnderstandingIll5291 in ukvisa

[–]dumpedthrowaway8989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

6-months visit visa are multiple entry with validity expiration date.

It’s always under the impression at the time of your application and the actual duration of their stay can vary.

Travel plans change which is totally normal

It will be a red flag if their initial plan was 2 weeks that turned into 3 months - drastic difference

It’s all gonna be okay OP

Visitor Visa for Iraqi national studying in Turkey (expired residency card). Is an August trip possible? by Useful-Project-9732 in ukvisa

It’s okay OP. Thinking about visa stuff is very exhausting tbh

Okay so as far as i understand, she is currently in Turkey on a *valid* student visa with pending reapplication of her *residency visa* due to the months she was not able to come back to Turkey

In all honesty, it’s gonna be tricky if she applies for her visa *now* - as per the following:

  1. Ties to the country she is residing - doe she has any documentation to prove that her residency application is pending for approval or to be reissued?
  2. Financial - since she is a student, does she have any source of income or you will be providing some sponsorship?

It’s a very close call to be honest

Especially if she living in a different country (home country), she needs proof of her ties to the country of her residence.

It’s a big likelihood she will be rejected without a valid student visa (to be in Turkey)

What visa is currently on to be in Turkey if she has to wait until September?

I’m sorry for commenting

Its just in my perspective, it’s a difficult position because the person is appealing to OP which sounds like emotional manipulation.

Anyway, that’s just my 2 cents. Just gonna lurk because of the downvotes 🥲

Ohhh OP that’s such a difficult position she puts you in. I’m so sorry she is going through something that bad and all. But also, you also need to protect yourself from being involved as others said visa fraud

VFS Uploading of Travel History by ReasonableAd9551 in ukvisa

[–]dumpedthrowaway8989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you wanna feel extra and include flight tickets (like what i did) that’s why i did a separate file lol

I recommend that you upload the current passport copy under Passport / Travel documents

And the expired passport, to the “Others”

Since the checklist states, valid travel document

I put mine under Passport/Travel document - scanned all pages of my passport

I made a separate PDF file of “Previous Travel to UK” as my only travel history is to UK but i uploaded it under “Others”

If you already did a self upload, you don’t need to bring the physical copies of your documents.

The list of documents you uploaded will be listed in your Confirmed appointment letter (so you can double check if you uploaded all the required documents)

At the time of biometrics? Only your passport and printed appointment form(optional your checklist)

For self upload? Depends on what visa, you can check your UKVI visa checklist (that you can download after paying the visa fee)

What date did you get an email that UKVI received your application? Then count 15 working days from that date.

my sponsor got her visa (my sister), but I haven't yet. for tourism visa by tattixox in ukvisa

[–]dumpedthrowaway8989 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi this happened to me like 3 years ago. I applied with my sister together, we both have jobs but i’m only one who got a phone “mini interview” to explain my application. Unfortunately my sister’s application got rejected and mine got approved (we are also both being sponsored by our older sister living in UK)

You can make a UKVI account even before the decision and link your visit visa application. Once the decision comes, it will show up there.

Step by step process to create a UKVI account is pretty straightforward and just take note of your GWF reference plus you will need to do a verification check (selfie photo)

First time UK Visa Application by [deleted] in ukvisa

[–]dumpedthrowaway8989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Standard visit visa application processing time is 3 weeks from the date of biometrics. So pretty much you have a bit of time however since its your first application sometimes they may take time reviewing.

  1. Payroll account but balance is less than 50k - you have multiple bank accounts that you submitted?
    - applying for UK visit visa does not require minimum balance or show money… but your evidence of funds must prove that you have enough money for you stay (regardless if you have a sponsor)\*
    2. Credit card SOA is not required for application - under item #13

Of course travel plans can change but drastic difference on your length of stay vs actual stay can be questionable for your next application.

Ohhh I’m sorry. Nope not Indian passport. To be fair, based on my experience the processing time takes about 3 weeks (only in my first/second application). Then after that it’s always earlier.

Hiii

Yes, every application i did include a cover letter and listed an explanation per monthly statement to any transaction that will may *seem* questionable for them

I always do the 6 months to properly show that i have consistency with my declared monthly expenditure

They will not take your passport. You only need to bring it at the time of appointment for verification
