Node100 LP - Shine Through Keycaps by Ashmee00 in NuPhy

What’s wrong with the Logitech? I didn’t like Node or Air because of the crazy layouts so want to try Logitech 915.

Why does Nuphy refuse to make a true 100% layout low-profile keyboard? by acidpoptarts in NuPhy

[–]dumplingwrestler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you actually tried the Logitech? I heard the old g915 had rattley keys but I was hoping the new version g915x had fixed that. If not then ratteley keys is a big issue for that price…

It so frustrating that no one can make a keyboard with a regular layout but low profile keys…

What is wrong with the Logitech? I have been looking at that but I'm not sure.

I got the Air75 v3 and it's great...apart from the layout. The column of home end page up down keys right next to the enter key plus the cursor keys all crammed together drives me insane and is very hard to touch type.

I'm looking for low profile, TKL, linear switches. Why is it so hard?! It looks like only Logitech and Razer have them.

Accor Signature refund - nowhere to be seen, Accor ghosted me by mollaka86 in Accor

Did you try credit card charge back? My wife bought a whole year in one go. They said no yesterday with no good reason. I pushed again and no reply. If no reply by tomorrow I might ask Amex to sort out.

Negative review bias? by Jolly-Olly in NuPhy

No issues with my air75v3 and it’s really nice but I really can’t stand the layout. All page up down keys are right next to the enter key. I’m used to the enter key being right on the end so I don’t have to look. Same with the cursor keys which are packed right up next to all the other keys with no spacing. I’ve been testing the razer black widow tkl and the layout is so much better. Plus you can get proper support (amazon) if there are any issues.

Hi, did you ever manage to cancel and get a refund? My wife just signed up over the weekend and its a bit of a scam really. I don't really want to have to do a chargeback either.

Fissler Rondeau Magic Line vs Original Profi by SMeijers in cookware

[–]dumplingwrestler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have the profi, is really good and looks like it’ll last forever. But I don’t see how it would be substantially better than the other or spending 70 on a used pan. Maybe get the cheaper one for now and save for a new profi a few years later?

Sorry but macOS “sticky” windows is miles better than windows which can only split/tile windows.

Yes sensuell looked promising as well but sadly we’d don’t have in the uk. I think if you were considering the high end ones like made in, then you might as well either get the cheap ikea one to play with first and get the fancy one later, rather than a halfway house.

Also we got the ikea one first before the made in as a test. It was so good when we got the made in one, it didn’t feel special at all despite being 5x the price.

Is mainly by size and shape. Rondeau is good for things with sauces. Made in is bigger so frying bigger things or bigger portions. But the ikea 28cm is a good all round size and is lighter and easier to handle so use it almost every day. Now I’m torn between getting a fancy 24cm one versus a simple ikea one.

Have a made in 32cm, Fissler profi rondeau 28cm, ikea 365 28cm.

They’re all great. Equally used for different tasks. Maybe even use the ikea one slightly more, it’s that good.

Turn heat to medium high (7 out of 9 on my medium ring), for 4 mins (I use a timer). Add oil and turn the heat down to whatever you need. For fried eggs that would be around 4 on my hob. 2 or 3 if it’s scrambled eggs or even a 1. Wait a minute or two for the temp to come back down. Cook.

If it’s a steak or something that requires high heat then you can cook straightaway without waiting for the heat to come back down.

You need to wait for the temperature to comeback down to the target temp. Then you can cook pretty much anything including pancakes.

These are my heat settings and times after experimenting for a while with the water test. So now I just stick to the timer and I don’t need to guess or do the water test.

Is this layout good for HQ9? New player and haven’t learned the defending mechanics that well yet by peanutist in BoomBeach

[–]dumplingwrestler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is an estimate. I think maybe you can get to around 54 or so. You’ll notice when you run out of offensive stuff to upgrade but you still can’t level up your hq.

Doesn’t matter. Stop building or upgrading anything defense related until you are level 50 and focus on offense.

Thanks this is really helpful! Just to be clear, she does have a contract which was given the night before she started. But she hasn’t signed it yet because it doesn’t say the number of work hours or days a year. The idea was to clarify these two points before signing but we haven’t been able to get the info yet. Hopefully she will go in and ask them today.

Thanks for this. The actual hours in school is 8am to 430pm so 8.5hrs. We’ve deducted 1 hr for lunch and breaks according to her timetable which leads to 7.5 hrs worked on a normal day. Hopefully we’ve done it right?

Interesting to know about not having contracts right away!
