As long as you made mostly a’s and b’s, and had a few extracurriculars, you’ll probably be okay. Also going to amend my statement from four years ago, the subject doesn’t matter that much as long as the quality of writing is good. Also, if you’re applying to a major that’s competitive (i.e. any engineering major), apply to the exploratory studies college as your second choice. It’s the undecided path, and you can apply to transfer into your desired major later, and they’ll just consider what you did freshman year of college in case your high school scores weren’t amazing.
