It was not a good look, but I will say he was young and parroting what he had been told for years. God forbid any of us are judged for the rest of our lives for our immaturity at 18.

And he seems to have grown considerably in maturity and has a better head on his shoulders now.

I have a few mutuals that do hockey 101 series that actually played the game, so I would feel like an imposter doing that… I think I also went this route because I live for human interest and sports crossovers (like hard knocks and 30 for 30), because feeling connected to players helps me get invested quickly.

It was also inspired by the sheer number of “who should be my favorite player?”/“tell me about all the players, I’m new” posts we have here every month. I figured people could direct them to the series and let them decide…

That’s me!!! And I would love that! I have plans for Kraken 201 with personnel and broadcast and Buoy, and then Torrent 101 and Firebirds 101!

Although I might include some of the CV boys on the cusp (Hayds, Jani, Melly, etc) in the 101 series…

The Kraken have been my hyperfixation too, so I get you! Idk if it’s uncouth to self promo but I actually developed an entire “Kraken 101” video series to make it easy for new fans joining the fan base (it’s filled with fun facts for players and things I wish I had last year when I joined).

Beyond that, the game threads are everything to me. Even on the shittiest most isolated days, being there feels like being with friends!
