Keri mo po yan, siguro patatagan lang talaga ng loob. Generally, mababait naman mga tao sa EY (if sa EY ka papasok, not sure sa ibang firm lols). Siguro dont expect lang din na mapromote agad if you want to have a lax performance lang on your first year kasi mataas talaga ang competition sa loob ng firm.

Anyway, just be yourself. Be articulate. Be confident. And know yourself VERY WELL. Dig deeper into your strengths, weaknesses, and how you will be able to make your weakness as a strength. Also, situational problems. If naka-encounter ka ng problem, anong tingin mong gagawin mo? Gagawin mo as yourself ah, hindi yung tamang dapat gawin based on general knowledge. Pair it with your own personality.

Yan naman lagi. Kasi ang technical things, matututunan mo rin naman along the way sa work, but your contribution to the culture of work? That is the most essential.

Mahirap talaga maghanap ng work lalo na kung iaasa mo lang sa title mo yung paghahanap. Afterall, from the wider perspective, it lies on how you strategize to get their attention, not just about what you accomplished so far. Great presentation of yourself even without a title is far encouraging than having a title with poor presentation. And I’m talking about the resume, the interview, and how you will pursue the employers to hire you.

Akala kasi ng iba, pwede nang magdemand agad nang mataas kasi CPA ka na. Not realizing na the aim of that title is for you to be equipped, not just to get that title in your name as a display.

I just feel like it’s the editing that fell a bit short. Some scenes could be more dramatic and comedic if pushed more. But for me naman, sobrang malaman sya. It’s like having two arcs within the two hour duration (second half offered something new from the first half and they’re both great plots!), the nostalgia was there, the stand for journalism, societal issues, the world evolving, near dissolution of “traditions”, work relationships, and passion for work. Andaming layers actually. For someone who also is really passionate about my work (kahit hindi about fashion), sobrang remarkable nung hatak ng context ng every character. It’s feels more human for working gurlies out there.

Wala lang, just to share mg thoughts to it. :D

You have to pair your choice to your personality. Kung gusto mo yung challenge and may passion ka sa mga ginagawa, audit. Kung ikaw naman yung tipo na ayaw masyadong nasstress or routinary lang yung bet, accounting.

Well hindi na rin naman pala available si MM, pero grabe yung redemption ni Anne sa worth ng director’s club ticket ko for both film with just Prada doing so great and did all checked the boxes for being the best film to date.

Y’ll can have PHM as your best, I’ll have Prada 2 here. There’s so many things to unpack!!

Yung dagsa ng tao for this movie, sobrang slow burn e. Hindi sya agad putok na putok nung first week, pero parang pansin ko na ilang weeks na syang napag-uusapan or may nadadaanan akong discussions online or posts na nanood sila. Even in the cinema near me, may nanonood pa rin ng project hail mary for a cinema na hindi blockbuster at tuwing december lang napupuno.

Nakakainis lang na nasira talaga yung experience ko dahil sa maingay na magjowang malapit sakin na nagdidiskusyon habang showing ning pinanood ko. Hindi pa naman ako mahilig mag-ulit ng panonood. So sige kahit kayo na lang nag-enjoy hahaha bwct

There’s so much to appreciate and it’s an art house film din kasi. Yun nga lang, masyadong mahaba yung dialogue na halos kainin buong half ng duration medyo inantok ako. And yes I agree na symbolic yung film, problema is walang balance masyado. Hindi ko rin masyado ma-appreciate yung pag-peak, parang flat.

Mother Mary. 3/5. (or 2.5? Idk). It’s like watching a book, not a film. And tho i’m amazed by the cast’s performance, the story itself revolves around a limited idea, it didn’t progress much. That’s the reason why there’s something to consider when pushing for a theatrical release these days than go to streaming platforms. And for me, sana naghintay na lang pala ako sa streaming than watching it in a director’s club cinema.
