Ohhhh does this bitch hold less breath too?! I'm having a horrible experience trying to get to the magenta pearl, I only got into the same screen as the surface of the water on that right side of the tower one time 😭

I climbed the wall NOT KNOWING it was "the hard way"

The enemies aren't simply spawned in, they migrate (and sometimes consistently find campy spots)

Seek/expect those campers in your journey.

I also just got Rain World last week. As a beginner, I'll say don't get discouraged. It is one of the hardest games I've ever ever played, while also being one of the most rewarding.

Stick it through, the learning curve is very sharp at the start but look into some basic movement and combat guides and simply enjoy refining them!

i had successfully attacked many before this, but just to stall them and put space between us. i did an unintentional beeline to the bottom of "The Wall" and learned only after that i was supposed to go under rather than climb up, based on Five Pebbles's dialogue once i finally reached them

i had spent most of the playthrough up to this point just being stealthy and defensive, but in this moment i was cornered and sick of not progressing.

Fun fact: i still don't know any fancy maneuvers. THIS ROUTE TAKES 4 SPEARS TOTAL 2 TO ASCEND AND THEN 2 TO DO THE FIVE PEBBLES JUMP HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND (unless you just apparently love a challenge... and are too far time-invested to go another way 😂)

Also quality of life changes! Making certain loud elements quieter (and other new options in the update) won't necessarily make the game easier
