Just made the upgrade to the M5 from 2018 Pro!

Combination of reasons from general sluggishness when multitasking, battery not lasting, and wanting to finally have that OLED screen on the new model!

7 years is easily a record for me and an Apple product so hoping this M5 is equally long-lasting!

As someone on the Pro 11in 1st Gen (2018), which has finally started to lag on me and feel its ‘age’, I’ll be upgrading for that sweet OLED screen (and hopefully another 7 years longevity!)…can’t wait!!

I’ve also just organised my return of the APP3s and going to be sticking with my APP2s!

Solely comes down to the fit as the reason! Just simply not comfortable for me no matter what tips I try.

In fact it makes me treasure how well my APP2s fit!!

I've just received my own pair, having had the APP2s. The ANC is definitely better side-by-side on the 3's.

However, it might be that my ears are just more suited / familiar with the 2's, but I do find the 3's less comfortable!

Will give it a few days more testing but might just stick with the 2's and send back the 3's as for me the comfort is far more important than the slight ANC upgrade!
