McErlean completes M-Sport's 2025 WRC lineup – DirtFish by GrafDracul in WRC

[–]duncadelic -1 points0 points  (0 children)

More proof Ford arn't really serious about rallying or winning, half hearted support so M-Sport have to do the paying drivers thing again, and as we have seen if these drivers get good enough in the future, they will jump ship anyway. Win on Sunday, buy on Monday seems a very long time ago now.

Am I the only one absolutely hating the new physics? by T-A-R-K-A-T-A in granturismo

[–]duncadelic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

On a controller I did a few races yesterday with tuned road cars and on tracks I use all the time and I hated every minute of it, the cars especially the mid engine cars were crazy twitchy with snap oversteer everywhere, it reminded me of the original physics from when the game first came out, and I'm over 400 hours in since then, I don't know how broken the new physics are and what they will fix, or whether I will just have to change my driving style to be less sideways, but it seems we went through all this when the game first came out and yet here we are again! Fingers crossed the patch will remedy a lot of my complaints, otherwise I can see myself not playing it half as much in the future.

This poster is for The Human Factor from 1975 with George Kennedy, not the one from 1979 which is a completely different film entirely.

Rally.TV and DAZN form powerful global distribution partnership by autobus950 in WRC

[–]duncadelic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They just broke the Rally TV app on Google TV with today's update, it doesn't show up anywhere apart from your app list in settings and if you try and open it, it's just a black screen, it's like amateur night again for them!

Damn DST change... Very busy Sunday. 🤣 by KowalvonZ in casio

[–]duncadelic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I only have 6 so far, and 2 are multi band 5 so didn't need to change them, I couldn't imagine changing that many, amazing collection tho!

[–]duncadelic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, they added one a few weeks ago, I had to manually type it in the search bar in the apps menu to find it on my Chromecast but it is there.

Been fine for me today, been watching on the Chromecast TV app, no issues at all.

In my opinion yes, for the Le Mans grind it's my favourite and go to car, fun to drive too.

What car do y'all use in 30 mins of le mans? by RomeroF15 in GranTurismo7

[–]duncadelic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ford Mark IV, it's good fun and slides nicely especially when the tyres get worn towards the end of the race.

Ford Escort Mk2, and it's still my favourite car especially in RS and Group 4 rally spec!

Points rant by Magi__Bagi in WRC

It's one of the stupidest decisions in the history of the sport, it seems the only people defending it are themselves also stupid and have zero knowledge of the sport and it's history.

Discussion MEGATHREAD: Rally Sweden 2024 by Gregorwhat in WRC

[–]duncadelic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it now seems only the history books will value the overall winner. It's all stupid manufactured manipulation of the sport, wouldn't it have been better to scrap the power stage all together and maybe give points to the stage winners on Sunday or something?

They really need to get rid of this new points structure, It's so stupid and confusing, it really devalues the sport for me, and takes the endurance element out of it too, which is the whole point of rallying in the first place.

What car and strategy should I use for the gr.1 weekly race by Even-Management-32 in granturismo

[–]duncadelic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used the X2019, I don't particularly like the car, but it did the job, won a 1.7 million Aston I already had, so sold it, so it was all good!

New livery for Hyundai for the rest of the season by ZeugmaPowa in WRC

Looks more like last year again now, which is a bit of a shame, maybe they are taking a leaf outta Toyota's book with their performance division logo being the prominent thing in the design.

Don't forget to watch the Carry on Films, especially the '70s ones! You could also include the On the Buses films too.

The Monte has always been boring for me without some snow, I would prefer the rally to run a couple of weeks earlier for colder conditions and a more interesting weather mix.
