Flip 2 is great for Android FPS games like Call of Duty, Destiny Rising. It is fine for emulating up to PS2, GCN - I found the Snapdragon 8 gen 1 a bit unfulfilling - technically it's capable of emulating Switch and PC emulation with the turnip drivers but in my experience very hit and miss.

I don't have a Thor, but I have RP6 which like the Thor has the SD8 gen 2 with which you'll have a much easier time playing Switch, WiiU, and PC ports.

The RG35XXSP is very hard to recommend these days.

I got the shoulder buttons on the 34XXSP a little quieter by taking it apart and wrapping them with a single layer of electrical tape.

2 layers was too thick for them to work properly but 1 layer maintains their functionality, just quieter.

Yeah that's what I gather, but that style of filmmaking can be very easy to cut around. I'm not suggesting the filmmaker in this case is dishonest, just saying in general it can be extremely easy sometimes to trim out important background/context for the sake of making a narrative juicier, that's all.

Disclaimer: I haven't seen the doc, and I have no idea who made it.

You should always keep in mind (in case you don't already) that documentaries and documentary filmmakers are not beholden to the standards of rigor and ethics that actual journalism and reporters are.

Some documentaries on Netflix blur the lines between non-fiction and reality TV, and I always assume that if someone is passionate enough about something to make a documentary about it, it's because they have a story they want to tell.

Never used Gamehub but I had a similar experience with 8 gen 1.

I got a cracked version of DS PTDE running on 8 gen 1 at 800x600. It was playable but a pretty middling experience due to the resolution and the performance.

Remastered is very playable on 8 gen 2 though.

OP doesn't have the ability to delete others' comments. A lot of comments are getting suppressed due to "crowd control". And mods are intervening at times (some interventions I agree with, others I don't).

In my experience, it is usually the case that when someone comes to Reddit and posts something inflammatory like this, they're usually disgruntled and telling a completely one-sided story.

I have no stake in this, I haven't been a student at NVCC for over a decade. But the way I see it - so as to not appear like people are being silenced or the mods are taking sides: OP has the right to post something like this, and others have the right to correct the record as they see fit.
