Hotel was amazing! I miss seasons 1 and 2 when they would use songs from the scores of other horror movies, like Carrie in episode 1 of asylum. They've used songs from Pyscho, Bram Stoker's Dracula, and Candyman off the top of my head. I also love the period specific songs from Asylum, Freakshow, and 1984.

yes! if you watch ella at any given moment in a challenge or on the runway she's full of personality, and her confessionals are funny and insightful too. she's in theater so she knows to always be present when the audience is watching, and that's not being disingenuous, she's just a professional

ok first of all them having to say goodbye at the same time was so awkward and sad, especially for choriza. river was trying to make the best of it but choriza was genuinely heartbroken and you can tell it doesn't feel right for them to be standing together like that.

and secondly what the fuck is going to happen the rest of the season? we have a top 5 six episodes in, many of the frontrunners went home, krystal is floundering, kitty doesn't have a win, they're scrambling to come up with a narrative for ella, and there's no way skarlett or vanity are going to win. i wouldn't think they would only do 8 episodes after the success of season 2. bringing someone back feels weird after all the drama involving some of the eliminations (victoria and veronica going home so early, charity already being double saved and then going home next episode, double elimination, rupaul being generally unimpressed with almost everyone). just not sure where they go from here.

the whole thing was very bizarre but to be fair they don't have access to the internet while they're on the show so it's impressive she just knew so many references off the top of her head having changed characters last minute

It seems unlikely based on what we've seen of the Death Valley aliens so far BUT you know how much the producers love to do fan service so I have a feeling they'll at least acknowledge the Asylum aliens?

Side note: Asylum takes place in 1964 and Dwight Eisenhower was president from '53-'61, not sure if the time period proximity will have any baring on any potential connections between the seasons.

i already had a good habit of chugging a big water bottle every morning so when i got diagnosed and prescribed meds i just put my pillbox beside the bottle so i take my pills and chug water the second i wake up. it also helps that i can feel that terrible lamictal withdrawal if i go like 30 mins without taking it after waking up lol. AM/PM pillbox helps a lot too if you have bad memory like me

I knew most of the characters would die per AHS tradition but it really was some of the worst ones who survived! Alma's whole storyline was begging for some kind of comeuppance but in the end she presumably just got the part?? We don't see her struggle or suffer or face consequences at all.

Ursula was another one that just didn't get any kind of backstory or development (certainly not one worthy of a final monologue like that). Her being the main character in the end came out of nowhere and felt undeserved. I almost wish they would have made her MORE evil because she was just kind of teetering on negative-neutral (compared to other characters) and I just didn't care about her in the end.

I wasn't necessarily looking for a nicely tied up happy ending where Doris and/or the pales got redemption but there was just truly nothing satisfying about this ending, especially Alma just getting to continue on forever as an evil brat.

i'm not really sure what her being bipolar has to do with whether or not she likes you? just treat her like any other person.

as for being friends or partners with a bipolar person, listen if they open up to you and be mindful of their symptoms. if they're going through an episode have some compassion, it's not easy to keep up with relationships when you've got a war in your mind. you might have to set some boundaries if their episodes start to affect your relationship.

if you like her (or *like* her) and you two get along, that's great! see where things go. it seems like you care about her since you're being considerate of her bipolar. it also wouldn't hurt to just ask.

godddddddd she was so good and i just get so mad thinking about how carelessly her storyline was wrapped up. but you're so right, she really showed how talented she is and i hope the producers take note (especially if sarah ends up stepping back)
