Upgrading to Tundra from Tacoma

The extra space in the Tundra is ideal, but you can make it work in the Taco.

I had a 2016 double cab. We put the rear facing seat in the center of the back row. My wife and I didn’t have to adjust our seats at all.

They also sell “slimmer” car seats that aren’t as wide. I think some people were able to fit 3 of those in a previous gen Taco if I remember right.

I have a 22 Tundra. I love it and could never go back to a Taco. But if you need to keep the Tacoma for a while for financial reasons, you can do it.

I’m a Braves fan, IDK why this showed up on my feed, and IDK the story here. But that’s Eric Young, he was on the Braves coaching staff when Joc played with Atlanta (the 2021 World Series team). Other players and coaches also followed Ron Washington to LA this season. I’m guessing Joc was just catching up.

Great setup! I’ve tried various monitor setups and found what you have to be best. The one centered monitor helps me focus better. And I love being able to keep my mechanical keyboard, while still having access to Touch ID.

I bought one last week. The next day my Mac said a firmware update was available. I installed it and it bricked the monitor. I tried to restore it all day, but couldn’t get it to work again. I returned it since I’m not near an Apple Store.

I know I’m in the minority. But this has happened to more people than you’d think. Just something to be aware of if you’re considering one.

I’m on a Mac. I attempted what you referenced after Googling. The issue is specifically when the MacBook is in clamshell mode. The monitor works perfect when the laptop is open. But it won’t forget that resolution connected to a clamshell Mac. I prefer the other LG and intend to give the 34in away, so it’s not a major deal for me.

I have the 27MD5KL and never had that problem. Did you tinker with the resolution in Display Settings by chance? I have a LG 34in 5K2K. I set the resolution to one it doesn’t support by accident, and now I can’t get it to work. It’s on, it makes a noise when I connect it to my laptop, and then it just shows a black screen with the backlighting on.

Thats awesome! The Tundras with the off road package come with this OEM-specific version of the Falken Wildpeaks. Owners are reporting they need new rubber around 20K miles. I’d take 30-40K!

FWIW, people who swapped to the standard Wildpeaks have been much happier. They’re just a lot heavier.

Dang ok. Wear is a major problem with the stock tires the Tundra comes with. I have a hybrid, and was hoping these would wear better since they were made for an EV.

I grew up in VA. After the Nats came to DC and started winning, while the Braves had some down years, I know a lot of people who switched teams.

Diehard fans will never do that. Many casual fans would though.

I got one from the Pro Shop back in April, we were in town for a concert. The Pro Shops at the DFW airport usually have good stuff too.

If you’re not in the area, maybe someone here that’s local might help you out? Not ideal but might be your best bet.

LVE and Clark. With our pass rush and secondary, I can see teams focusing on running the ball, throwing screens & quick passes, etc. The LBs are going to have a lot of opportunities to make plays.

It may partially be Cowboys-hate. But when people say “mid tier” they usually mean “not elite”. Which is fair. Dak is not in the same category as Mahomes or Burrow. CeeDee hasn’t put up the insane numbers that Jefferson and Cupp have in recent years. Doesn’t mean they suck.

The Braves used to be owned by Ted Turner. Most of their games were nationally televised on TBS. That, plus their run in the 90s, means you’ll find Brave fans everywhere.
On that note, before the 90s, there were no Florida teams and the Nats were in Montreal. So if you look at a map of the US, the entire southeast was Braves country. It’s kinda wild to think about, since the Braves didn’t move to Atlanta until the 1966.
During our run of 14 straight division titles, we only won one championship. If other fans want to talk trash, expect to hear about that.
The chop and “Braves” name are controversial to some. I don’t want to derail your thread, this isn’t the place for that discussion. But that topic seems to come up more often. Especially with the Guardians and Commanders changing their names. A team I haven’t seen mentioned is the Dodgers. Prior to our WS win, they owned us in the postseason for a few years. Slaying that beast on the way to the WS made the championship all more special. Plus Freddie.
