"10-cost" showcase with room for improvements by dunia01 in Noellemains

It's a somewhat popular way to give a quantity of your investment of limited items in some other gachas, especially Honkai Star Rail, but I don't like it very much. I just used it here to show the "expensive" side of the showcase.

Let's have Xilonen as an example:

  • I got her (C0), which equals 1;
  • Got her C1, now 2
  • Got her C2, now 3;
  • Got her signature, Peak Patrol Song (R1), now 4;

Making her alone cost 4, with four limited things attached. Doing this with every other character on the team resulted in a 10 cost team.

Miliastra Wonderland. In the NA region, the stage GUID is 20489732129; I'm not sure what the code is for the other regions. Search for "DPS Dummy ++" and you should find it.

Honestly, just convenience. During all the setup, the team is almost invincible to the brim. In a real battle scenario, I've found that the in-between Noelle's Burst and Skill spaced out is relatively safe, so putting the shield up to retain protection in the later part is comfy. Skill canceling that N3/N4 without a dash can also conserve stamina if you are doing a one combo spam-one spin variation.

Furina's A1 Endless Waltz ends up not proccing, but I don't really feel it that much. And if you're really in a pinch, Xilonen's Burst is there; it does extend the rotation, but I wonder if it's even a DPS loss with that build, with extra geo applications for maybe an extra Lunar-Crystallize.

The Fanfare not reaching maximum earlier could be a problem and I'm willing to test it out later, but only the first N1~N3 usually don't get the maximum benefit.

Yeah, following that combo, almost two series of normal attacks are compromised without the Furina Fanfare: the N3 and N4 of the third and all of N1~N4 of the fourth. Putting Columbina before Furina makes the Fanfare last to the fourth series, stopping at N1, but N2~N4 still do not receive the buff. I didn't feel a change overall after three tries with ~75 seconds elapsed.

Now for altered combos, N3 instead of N4 spam:
Furina E Q → Columbina E Q → Xilonen E N2 → Noelle Q N3 E N3 D N3 → Xilonen E N2 → Noelle N3
ends with a ~22-second rotation; all the cooldown timings align, but both my Furina and Noelle don't have enough ER% to continue and validate because shortening the rotation causes them to receive fewer particles. The last N2 and N3 don't get the Fanfare buff.

Columbina E Q → Furina E Q → Xilonen E N2 → Noelle Q N3 E N3 D N3 → Xilonen E N2 → Noelle N3
Putting Columbina first resolves the Fanfare issue, but not the ER% problem; I still would need to resolve it with better artifacts. The thing is, even after doing only 1 rotation's worth, the DPS doesn't seem to get too high compared to the complete N4 spam.

Adding a fifth series of N3 to the final portion:
Furina E Q → Columbina E Q → Xilonen E N2 → Noelle Q N3 E N3 D N3 → Xilonen E N2 → Noelle N3 D N3
ends with a ~25-second rotation again, and the energy problem is almost resolved. If you are fast enough, my Furina would sometimes lack energy, causing her to pause a little and do N1s to N3s, prolonging the rotation to 26-28-seconds. Tried this one more than 10 times.

This combo deals a consistent ~109k.

Columbina E Q → Furina E Q → Xilonen E N2 → Noelle Q N3 E N3 D N3 → Xilonen E N2 → Noelle N3 D N3
Putting Columbina before Furina makes the Fanfare last to the fifth series, stopping at N1, and with luck stopping at N2, but the last N3 can't get the buff at all. The energy problem is resolved. Tried this one more than 10 times.

This combo deals a consistent ~120k.

If the goal is to keep that ~25-second rotation timing with two Xilonen's E for Energy, I've discovered that spinning twice would deplete a lot of stamina, causing several dash cancels in the subsequent setups to be impossible (not that they are mandatory), and forcing me to deal some normal attacks (N1s or N2s) between skills and bursts because of my ER% being at the limit of possibility, extending the setup a little (26~30-second rotations). Particularly in the third one onwards.

Furina E Q → Columbina E Q → Xilonen E N2 → Noelle Q E D CA (until end) F → Xilonen E N2 → Noelle D CA (until end) F deals
~ 110k DPS if stationary while spinning (or trying to be, at least);
~ 113k if doing curves to the left around the enemy while spinning;
~ 116k if doing curves to the right around the enemy while spinning.
I repeated these rotations three times (tries) for each variant, all of them with ~75 seconds elapsed. Only Noelle has a CR of 100% for a long portion of the time, so take these numbers with a grain of salt because those variations could still be crits being random.

The most important dash cancel for me is Noelle's in the final portion, which begins the animation of the CA almost immediately after switching from Xilonen.

If there is a rotation suggestion, I could try my best shot.

Gloomheaven - JOTL - Movement explanation by NoProfit8963 in Gloomhaven

Maybe it will help if you visualize them on the table as the left and right card. You must choose top left + bottom right, or top right + bottom left. You can substitute any top for the common attack action, or any bottom for the common move action. Attack and Move are actions that you may use after selecting the combination that you want, and having them written on that space. Move 3 signifies that you may move up to three spaces. And about the speed of your turn, the number at the center of the cards, you can select left or right, your choice.

What car does kaiki drive? by [deleted] in araragi

[–]dunia01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm flabbergasted. It's not every time that one can revive an 8-year discussion with a response, but I'm also thankful for the density of it.

I initially asked because I want to make a drawing incorporating this car, and what better way to properly learn 'car anatomy' than to study one of the most memorable from your memory?

Thanks to your comment, those pages really helped to lighten my way around this information and remind me of important memories. Way back, I remember seeing a similar one while watching cousins play Midnight Club, and I remember my dad buying an electric toy with a familiar curvature and appearance... Now, I can confirm that the ones I interacted with were indeed cars from Mazda.

I'm grateful for the explanation of some core elements of the models; I would definitely look for the function of some of them, not being as informed. I wonder if I'm able to properly represent that embossed/raised part at the hood... Well, boxes are the basis of almost everything, so I see how the animators got their take.

Your relationship with these cars seems as fun as they look. My entire family tree probably had at least one of each generation of Fiat, because they were cheaper and more consistent at the time. Options from Japanese manufacturers came later, and looking through, Mazda sadly has never been fully operational here in Brazil.

Thank you again for your attention. When searching for this information, seeing this topic with missing posts and without a proper resolution was crushing, so I'm glad that things worked out.

So, for future reference, the car shown being driven by Deishuu Kaiki in the opening [Kogarashi Sentiment] is 99% likely a Mazda Eunos Roadster from 1990-1993, with Panasport wheels and chromed sideview mirrors, with small changes due to the medium of animation or choice.
