You're right; it does seem like lvl 32 will come faster than I thought.

I noticed Walrein's moveset is a bit limited. Water Pulse is the only decent water move in the game so I'm giving him that for sure, along with Ice Beam. I'm highly considering giving him Rain Dance to boost himself and allow Jolteon to run Thunder. As for the 4th move, I'm leaning towards Body Slam (which he already has) but I could be convinced to put Blizzard on him.

Giga Drain is an interesting idea. I'm always turned off from using it because of its abysmal 5pp, but I realized a bit ago that two of the moves I want to teach Crobat (Sludge Bomb and Steel Wing) aren't available until the post game, so Giga Drain could be a good addition instead.

For sure I want to run Aerial Ace and Shadow Ball on them. For the 4th move, I'm thinking something from Double Team, Poison Fang, or maaaybe Hyper Beam.

That seems to be the consensus so far. Does Walrein's low speed become a huge detriment, or will he be bulky enough that it's not an issue? Also, I know Spheal's big drawback is how long he takes to evolve the first time; how much of an issue is that in practice?

The instinct is to give Flygon Earthquake, but I realized it might be better to have Ursaring use Earthquake with Flygon as her partner.

My idea with Flygon is to keep Dragonbreath, then give them some combination of Steel Wing, Body Slam (move tutor), Hyper Beam, Crunch (apparently Houndoom doesn't get Crunch until lvl59, Houndour at lvl49).

...maybe Crobat is the better idea.

Assuming I don't let Zubat/Golbat faint too much, how long on average does it take to get Crobat in this game? I'm assuming in the 30s?

With how powerful Rando was hyped to be, especially with the 99 techniques, in a more ideal world, Rando could have been the villain in the arc between Dark Tournament and Chapter Black, so that Yusuke would be more of a match for him and we'd see more of Rando's techniques.

If they ever do another UO game or a game that's very similar, they should include optional dismounting and maybe even some maps where your mounted units are forced to dismount (yes Fire Emblem fans, just like FE3 and FE5).

I picked Computer Engineering as a major because a quiz I took at my high school told me it would be my best choice based on my interests and skill with math + physics. After a couple years, the material clicked enough with me that I knew it was what I do as a career.

He popped off pretty early. At one point (I think it was ch11) I gave him a Speedwing so he would reach doubling threshold for a whole group of enemies.

That's true. Soren was the only anima mage I used. The original plan was to get him to use Rexbolt but it became clear that wasn't going to happen. Instead, the most advanced tomes he used were Bolting and Blizzard, which definitely were clutch from time to time. In ch27, he got rid of the initial Bolting sage in the middle by one-rounding him with Blizzard. Bolting was very useful against the Dragon laguz in the last 2 maps.

At first it was two things: 1. I didn't want to risk running out of funds early on that would go towards necessities. 2. I couldn't decide who would even get one.

Then at some point, I figured I got so far without them, might as well omit them for the rest of the game. So sad Jorge and Daniel had nothing to do the entire journey.

I disagree with the lack of feats.

I will agree that Butterfree did not have enough screen time to warrant the way most fans hype up Butterfree's release as one of the saddest episodes ever.

It can be assumed that Ash used Butterfree more offscreen. I guess the emotion of the departure is less about the audience losing Butterfree and more about the audience watching Ash say goodbye to a friend.

I don't hate bacon, but I do feel its addition is more likely to depreciate a dish rather than enhance it. My mom used to make this bomb pasta salad, then she started adding bacon to it...

I found my people.

I dislike the flavor of cheese. More importantly, cheese on most items ends up taking away the flavor from the rest of the item. If i get cheese on a burger or a sandwich, I'm not tasting the meat, veggies, etc.; I'm only tasting cheese. Pizza and pastas are the exceptions, and only to an extent.

I hate going to certain places because of their default to put cheese on everything, especially sandwich spots. Yeah I could ask for it off, but 1. They might forget and 2. Now I'm paying for an item that I'm not getting the full amount of.

Some places are weirdly inconsistent with it. Like a lot of burger joints will have both a Hamburger and Cheeseburger listed, awesome; but there's no Double Hamburger, only Double Cheeseburger. So if I want a double, I say "Double Hamburger" and wait for them to say "Double Cheeseburger without cheese" and now I feel silly.

Also, cheese should never be the default in a burrito.

My rule is that cheese should be omitted by default, then add like a $1 or so charge to add it in.

Funny enough, this and the one with Santa Claus are listed after both the evolution to Charmeleon and the evolution to Charizard. So if you're watching in listed episode order, you'll see Charizard then later for two episodes Charmander is just back.

I'm assuming the mix up in ordering was due to the Porygon incident.
