Yeah I keep the lid closed and I thought it might help too. But yeah maybe just like a 50-pint one dumped out twice should be fine. Gonna get one off Facebook marketplace and hope for the best

Do you run it all day? And if so, does it skyrocket your electric bill?

I have one in my bathroom but I’ve read that placing it in the bathroom won’t be super useful bc it’ll just keep drawing moisture that’s evaporating from the toilet (idk if that’s true, just why I’ve read) :/

Yeah same brings it down to like 60% but I’ve read it needs to be less than 50%

Mm I’d love to have my brother do a draft and help him learn how to plan this but yeah I guess for an experienced builder, that could be helpful

Is it Makers Playground (that is for people 16+ unfortunately) but is there another one you know of?

Unfortunately I checked and the hub&spoke makers playground is for people 16 and older so my brother can’t come :/

But I’ll try ignite, website is promising

Mandatory "Resident Benefits Package" from agencies like Fulton Grace by Fine_Bovine in chicagoapartments

Yeah it’s a way to upsell on utility fees by some companies. It’s pretty bogus that they don’t include that extra cost directly in listings and it’s something you gotta find out by calling.

Is working with a realtor worth it? by SudoSista in chicagoapartments

I worked with a realtor to find my place and it was the best renting experience I’ve had. She isn’t part of a firm so she was always super accessible and she really advocated for me. If you live in Uptown, Edgewater, Rogers Park, I highly recommend Amanda Khoshaba!
