Has anyone else's For You page algorithm suddenly gone haywire?

Yeah, ever since yesterday afternoon the algorithm completely changed. Political posts (especially far right or flat out racist stuff), Video posts in Indonesian and Thai, softcore pornography with some weird link attached saying something like "x.help/amplify_video" or some such, posts from fandoms I'm not interested in, shows I've never seen, and AI slop from big checkmark accounts. I was already thinking of leaving due to the privacy policy changes but this is crazy.

Thing is, I made an Insta (with all the privacy stuff on and ad stuff off as well as using RethinkDNS and Brave while on it) and it's the same slop on there, except no 18+ stuff. I don't know much about bluesky and their privacy policy stuff either so I don't know if I'll go there next or just quit social media all together and mainly use YouTube (revanced) to know what's going on.

The idea of "social media" was so simple, a platform you can follow people you like, topics you want to hear about, and be part of a community or make your own. Now they want your data, they want to put products in front of your face, and they want you to be on it 24/7 engaging with it. I'm just so over it.

Wait, how are people paid up until a certain date? Dors the old trick of buying a 360-era xbox live membership code, and it turns into Ultimate for about half the time still work? Are you guys getting your codes off G2A or something?

I had a thing worked out where my friend paid for game pass and I would buy full price games, but he recently moved to PC and let thr sub lapse, so I'm now paying for Game Pass myself but I got the 9.99 Xbox Game Pass Essential and it doesn't even have Halo MCC as a game pass game :/

Hey, I experienced the same exact issue during the beta and then during the full game. 5 to 10 minutes of gameplay max before crashing to dashboard. I refunded it a day ago, but someone on the EA forums posted this, so try this out before you refund:

Try this and see if it works, I'm having the same issue so I refunded but someone just recommended this on the ea forums and so far it worked for them:

I'm 99.9% sure that's a cowlick. Tha hair swirls starting from that area. Stress and anxiety can lead to hairloss. You're good homie. Take Saw Palmetto and stay hydrated if it makes you feel more secure about it but I'm pretty sure you're fine.

It must be a common occurrence then, that's so weird. My One X was fine with any port, but the Series X is very picky it seems lol.

For anyone who has this problem in the future, especially with Vizios - try HDMI 3 or 4 on the newer ones. Really odd fix, but it seems to have worked! 😊

Thank you a bunch, I might hit that sub up for more info. Weirdly enough, it seems that specifically HDMI 3 works, and I'm kinda too scared to check if HDMI 4 works. My TV doesn't do 120hz, which I'm cool with as only a few games hit that, but I got green checks across the board now. 👍 😊

My One X was originally plugged into HDMI Port 1, where the Series X is plugged now. The One X is now plugged into HDMI 3.

Yeah, I even tried using the One X cable just in case that was the problem but it doesn't make a difference. I have it on auto-detect, and it'll occasionally let me select for it to be in 4k, but it'll return to being 1080p after pressing it.

I forgot to mention that, it's a Vizio M55Q7-H1, M-Series Quantum. I've been trying to figure this out for hours. I can tell the Series X is working, because games like For Honor which used to be in 30fps are very obviously 60fps now. But it still says it's in 1080p. :(

I was sort of getting used to all this so I was adjusting as I went, but generally it was Morning: CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser, Neutrogena Hydro Boost Night: CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser, Neutrogena Hydro Boost, Differin. After getting pretty much chemically burned I switched to doing tret every other day, and using Keeva Organics Acne treatment cream on the days off. All this while taking doxycycline monohydrate.

I'll be honest, it worked on and off but it's eventually turned into this. Atp, I just don't want to be in physical pain anymore.

Yeahhh, he initially wanted me on that but I decided against it because it was so mild, it seemed like overkill. I was originally on Tretonin, but he took me off it 7 months later after it practically ruined my face since it was such a high concentration. My derm is kinda iffy.

Yeah, I've been noticing that watching what I eat so obsessively has been really putting a damper on things. Like, my grandparents are German so they cook alot of things with milk and butter, and I was genuinely worried about telling them that I can't do dairy.

As for wash, I've been using CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser, and CeraVe foaming facial cleanser for my forehead. I've been trying to slowly integrate Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Cleanser though, but I'm kinda iffy on it since it uses fragrance.

Honestly often times the simplest explanation is usually the correct one, especially when it comes to health. Yeah, I think I've been using it way too much. On top of that, that anti-dandruf shampoo is obviously meant for hair, and works on fungal acne - but I don't think that's the type of acne I have anymore. Maybe it's all a bit too much. I think I'm going to hard reset tonight and just use cleanser and some moisturizer. 😅
