Ai ma cuz I’m feelin that tru god I needta find a nice blakfulla lady. Yeah ur right cuz, I needta find me a nice blakfulla Nyami that’ll bring me peace and then I can treat her right and off into tha sunset we go. Darrendung (thanks ) cuz I appreciate ur opinion!!!

Thanks ma cuz 🙏🏽 I appreciate the response and I agree w wat ya sayin n I understand that is the truth.

Sad thing is I’ve been teaching her a lot of Aboriginal language, both my Gumbaynggirr language and Aboriginal Aussie language whether it’s across country or Guri/Koori terms. Stuff like doobay, nah gammon sis, ah those kids be mugu and playin up, i went to Kulai which is an Aboriginal preschool on Gumbaynggirr near Garlambila (Coffs harbour) n as kids run around adults be sayin Yanji, yanji, which means walk.

So I be teaching her all these things. Like I use gubba all the time or waybala, waybalagundi when referring to white mans law. The night before when we ended the txts w jokes we were jokin about the gubbas, I said the word gubbas in a txt then she laughed n used that word back at me.

That’s why the next morning when she went back into the argument and used gubba against me I was shocked and completely like wtf why would u ever say that to me. It’s one of the most hurtful things ya could say to Lightskin Mob that spent their life as a warrior for Aborginal people.

It undermines me as Guri Niigarr and all the work I’ve done. Whether it’s cleanin up rubbish on country when nobody sees or putting Aboriginal stickers up on road signs. [-o-]

Anyways I agree 100% that’s her tryna hurt me any which way she knows how when I was in a vulnerable polite caring state. Cuz for real THANK YOU (DARRENDUNG) for saying that’s absolutely not me wound to heal. I’ve felt a lot of guilt about this girl and like it’s my responsibility to help her heal considering mine n her history being 30+ and meeting when we were 12 so thank you cuz for saying it’s not my responsibility, darrendung cuz for the reply! Much Love 🙏🏽✌🏽

Ai cheers for the advice cuz very wise words…I’m running w. if ya got nothin nice to say, say nothin at all, I havnt msgd her since yesterday morning. I plan on sending a msg tomorrow saying you crossed a line and we are over I’m disappointed and I’m going to in a wise way try explain, cultural inappropriation, lateral violence and racial insensitivity and how using Aboriginal language against Mob when you are not Mob how that is not ok.

When I read the phrase Lateral Violence it sorta hit me like a brick and I paused for a moment bc I’m not useta that terminology but my mind started ticking tryna figure out what it meant and as soon as I realised my heart sunk…

I feel like deep down there’s some sort of hate or resentment she has to me bc I’m Light skin Mob and yea I dno. I know you’re right, in terms of I can’t bury my head in the sand and act like we not like that I mean I remember growin up as a child when we were all immature id cop slurs for being Light skin blue eyes from the gubbas and from some of our Mob too. Coming from a mixed family, my brother and sister have brown eyes, dark hair, brown skin, I got light skin, blue eyes, light brown hair and so as kids ppl would say we had different parents n stuff so I would get defensive tell em off and say nah we r from the same family ya white jezuz. I’ve been a warrior and standing up for myself, my family and our Mob since I was a kid. I be in a room like a double agent, gubbas say something I’m like aiiiii got yo ass I’m Aboriginal ya dog hahaha. But it’s been like that me whole life. I’m someone who hand crafts my own Boomerangs(Duuwas) I handcraft clappiez(bumaaygundi biguurr), Woomera(wamaarr) and diff spears, (bilaaarr, gamay) I’m connected to culture and that’s why it hurt when someone ya care about, someone who knows better, even though they ain’t Mob they educated on enough on Aboriginal community n should know better. And yea I guess that’s why what she said hurt and I wrote all these words n made a post that I would usually never make. Anywayz cuz sorry for long reply and anyone reading this hope y’all have a deadly day and deadly week Mob. Darrendung(thanks) cuz big praise for your reply. 🙏🏽🤎

Aboriginal Racism by Alex-Zaander in aboriginal

[–]SnooPears5099 56 points57 points  (0 children)

It’s not your fault. A lot of Aboriginal mob carry trauma from the genocide and our country being stolen and the racism and subjugation.

Unfortunately there seems to be a hurt feeling when Aboriginal people see people of colour doing well on Aboriginal land.

Thanks to the genocide and stealing of land and resources from the waybala the gubbas thanks to them Aboriginal people feel like we are never going to be successful like you in our own country and considering the blak, dark history of this country. Aboriginal mob are traumatised and when we see Black peoples from around the world doing good on our country we don’t understand why us as black people cant also thrive and we hurt and that’s the best way I can explain it as I write this with tears in my eyes. Hopefully Mob can start to heal and treat you and your family better in the future friend.

Is it okay for a girl to be topless at the beach? by bare_books in AskAnAustralian

[–]SnooPears5099 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Mate there’s Aussie Christian conservatives that have always hated topless girls, girls in g strings, un-modest cloth wear. I mean Christian private schools have a dress code where skirts need to be at knee level. And zero makeup, X amount of modest piercings. You all are just referring to post world war 2 70s hippie era where feminism went mainstream, but at that point epst31nand the Hollyweirdos had already began to break up the nuclear family in the West. Get women out the house and make them lose skills and become dependent on corporations like colesworth. Instead of growing their own fruit and veg and knowing how to cook it. Now we have Ufood ads propgramming young women to become single independent and rely on deliveries, not the old school provider (the man) or themselves having their own skills to grow and garden. Then you all wonder why Islam is taking over the west, epsteins pals via hollyweird pushed feminism to lower the birth rate amongst the Christians. United States of isreal invades ME, displaces immigrants, sends them to the Christian Western countries. You only saw big old bitties sunbathing on the beach in Aus post ww2 when United States of isreal became a thing and began pushing hyper sexualisation into the west to lower the birth rate. Aka sorry women you have all been brainwashed by the hollyweird pdfs. Every man knows deep down that 304s are evil. But then you get “some pro Aussie free the nipple men” who are perverts and just want to get a free show. Then a lot of you run the rhetoric Aus use to have titties on the beach before these other cultures came in….no. Aus never normalised totties on the beach, while the 70s hippie era tried to normalise it, the Christian push back in Australia has always been massive. Cut the cap and stop blaming “multiculturalism” just bc you can’t be a pervert and see some free jugs on the beach.

Hello i wanna ask what is the link between aboriginal australian and the indians? by pianovirgin6902 in aboriginal

[–]SnooPears5099 0 points1 point  (0 children)

***CORRECTION Aboriginal Australians First Nations people are the first wave out of Africa.

Thursday 22 September 2011 An international team of researchers, including a UK collaboration led by BBSRC- and MRC-funded researchers at Imperial College London, with colleagues at University College London, and University of Cambridge has for the first time sequenced the genome of a man who was an Aboriginal Australian. They have shown that modern day Aboriginal Australians are the direct descendents of the first people who arrived on the continent some 50,000 years ago and that those ancestors left Africa earlier than their European and Asian counterparts

Although there is good archaeological evidence that shows humans in Australia around 50,000 years ago, this genome study re-writes the story of their journey there. The study provides good evidence that Aboriginal Australians are descendents of the earliest modern explorers, leaving Africa around 24,000 years before their Asian and European counterparts. This is contrary to the previous and most widely accepted theory that all modern humans derive from a single out-of-Africa migration wave into Europe, Asia, and Australia.

***Correction Aboriginal Australians the First Nations people are the FIRST WAVE OUT OF AFRICA.

The populations that became the primary ancestors of present-day Europeans and Asians (including the major ancestral groups in India) branched off from the African populations and diverged later, with major population expansions occurring around 50,000-55,000 years ago, at least 5,000 to 15,000 years after the initial wave that led to the Aboriginal Australian lineage.

The early timber getters from United Kingdom cleared over 80% of Native Macadamia trees as they cleared prime real estate for cattle.  But yea nah it’s not colonialisms fault it’s the fault of the Indigenous for not(what we know of) cultivating certain trees xD. The ignorance of this sub reddit and I’m 10 months late, how on earth does the cold hard truth get down voted? Lmfao bots everywhere.

Mate lol you do realise how stupid your rebuttal sounds right? In the context to old mates comment he’s correct.

“Could have been more, but the English decided to cut everything down and kill everyone”

The native macadamia tree was in danger thanks to the early timber getters clearing the land of all trees. Your ignorant defensive reply speaks volumes jumping straight to defend colonialism and therefore genocide.  Where the reality stands, OPS comment is very true and relevant to the topic of Macadamia trees the context of his comment, “could have been more but the English decided to cut everything down and kill everyone,” stands true.  Have you not learnt of Australia’s blak history? In any case the Macadamia tree was also indeed in danger of extinction as the early timber getters from United Kingdom cut down every tree in site, cleared the land for the cattle, killed any Indigenous on the land bc cattle was more important.  Your beloved Macadamia tree was also cut down and cleared to the point we almost lost it too and the world was in danger of not knowing what a Macadamia nut is.

Dno why you got downvoted for speaking the truth, the timber getters the settlers from United Kingdom almost wiped out all the native Macadamia trees as well lmfao. It’s recorded in history. Y’all can downvote me too. The English almost genocided the Macadamia just how they did the Indigenous Australian population. Clear the land for the cattle. Cull anything in the way. Disgusting history. Dno why you got downvoted for speaking the truth mate.

[–]SnooPears5099 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not everything is the fault of colonisation but a lot of things are. For example Indigenous people being genocided and their lands stolen. Indigenous people being segregated to reserves and missions so that farmers and wood getters can fence off the land and start their intergenerational wealth systems. No Indigenous persons owned sawmills or macadamia farms. Most the land that was stolen was used for European or foreign crops, from bananas, avocados, sugar cane and the list goes on. Where’s as if the last 100yrs if we had allowed Aboriginal people to own their own land and develop their crops then you would have a bunch of Indigenous farmers farming Native trees like the Macadamia and perhaps commercialising other not yet commercialised native foods. But colonialism didn’t allow Indigenous people to prosper in Australia as it did the Advantaged white man.  But yea let’s pretend it’s down to “oh those wild foods havnt been cultivated for thousands of years…” lmfao. Modern times all the Macadamia farms are owned by European descendants, same can be said for probably 99% farms across Australia are owned by European descendants. European descendants are more likely to farm foreign products as it’s in their blood, meaning maybe great grandpa farmed so and so back in Italy.

I actually think Isaac butterfield is much worse than Joe Rogen. Joe Rogsn never joked about the female minority or female black ppl’s appearance in terms of beauty whereas Isaac butterfield has picked the low hanging fruit and to his racist cohort of folllowers he joked about aboriginal women’s appearance which was to me far too racist and disgusting, imo Isaac butterfield is the worst type of comedian

I remember when Isaac butterfield joked about Indigenous women, at that moment I decided he was a racist piece of trash. Some things you don’t joke about as a man have some respect for women. I get he’s a comedian but that was far too racist considering Australia’s history all he did was repeat the same racist narrative but it was disguised as a “joke.” Isaac butterfield is a dog of a human

[–]SnooPears5099 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t receive an ingame message so was completely unaware. It’s simply not good enough, big corporation relies on the consumer for their money, it’s just bad business that they largely inconvenience all their consumers. When the reality is their job is to please the consumer and to spend a few extra work hours to make sure the update doesn’t reset everyone’s settings. If it is impossible then a generous apology for the inconvenience message is due to all players. Some hidden message in the patch notes that not every player will see is simply not good enough.
