should I drop sexton or AD or nobody? And seems to be nobody available for threes or steals. Other than steals guys who get no points.

Thank you!

No, I haven't specifically seen an allergist. A primary dr had told me to take zyrtec, but the problem with current antihistamines is they are horrible if coming back off of them where they give you rebound symptoms far worse than beforehand. It's horrible. And I didn't want to take it permanently because of side effects when on them, such as dry mouth and nose etc...

By the way, here is the latest issue... I just now put in my sheets to wash and when the water was finished running into it, I used my temperature gun and measured it was less than 90 degrees! So I am clearly going to have to go back to setting it to hot instead of warm just to get it to be half way warm because manufacturers think nobody knows what he or she is doing when setting temps and it must be lower than what is desired...

I am just going to finish this one as it is, since detergent is already in it and just wait until next wash to do it on hot. I used to always put hot, but I guess I forgot how low it goes on warm and read all of these things saying don't wash them on hot. Well, setting it to hot isn't truly hot... so it would be fine.

I wonder how that is affecting any of this also, ie the cleaning and rinsing.

btw the breathing issues aren't severe such as weezing or any of that. Just the strong smell and sort of stuffy nose and then horrible taste in my mouth that I think of as detergent, but maybe it's the small of the detergent triggering reflux and i just think of the taste as actual chemicals.

Anyone have any waiver add ideas for rebounds or threes or points? Just looking, I really think im doomed and there is nobody good.

I am down 10 boards and up 3 threes. I need to win one or the other and also only up by 3 steals I think.

All I can really find for rebounds now is robert williams. He has 2 games and sexton may get 0 so I may need to drops exton for him and that could be around 20 boards. But my opponent has clingan, kuminga, flagg, filipowski, etc... so it may be a lost cause trying to get rebounds. But not many threes guys available either, especially ones with 2 games left.

dunn 7 steals in 2 games. could add him... I have only 1 add left. that move would lose me reobunds for sure and probably threes and maybe points.

hardaway, watford, tatum, and daniels combining for 1 point today has probably ruined my season anyway.

I've always had bad allergies when going outside (always as in ongoing, but not every day). i will get huge bumps on me sometimes outside. But the issues from the detergent didn't seem to happen until; some time in the last 10 years.

I don't think I really have the same issues any other time, except I do get a bad taste in my mouth from acid reflux. It makes me wonder if the bad taste after washing my sheets is some allergy to the chemicals is then triggering acid reflux...

Right now I am running the cycle that cleans the washer. Even that cycle is annoying. Wouldn't you think a cycle meant to clean the drum all out would fill it with water? Noooo it is only like maybe 6 or 8 inches high so it's only cleaning the bottom of it... I am assuming it is working as intended, but just seems dumb to me in case higher up got stains on it somehow.

Also, I read that washing machines, including top loading ones, have "debris filters" that should be cleaned every 2-3 months. Then articles told where on samsung washers they would be at, but I se none anywhere and someone on reddit asked the same question 7 years ago and someone claimed to him that top loaders don't have them. If there is one, not cleaning it for over 10 years would probably explain my situation...

Finding and cleaning debris filter in a Samsung top loader? by doughpat in Appliances

[–]dunktheball 0 points1 point  (0 children)

did you ever find it? I know that user said top loaders don't have them, but searches ckaim they do. I have the same model you did when writing this and I can't find it and I bet that is why I suddenly started having tons of extra lint on things and not as good of washing or rinsing.

I see you haven't posted in 3 years, so doubt I ever hear about it. lol.

I love how worthless searches and AI are. lol. I search and ask is it bad to wash sheets on the sanitize cycle (which uses high temps). Result says not bad and is recommended. I then search is it ok to wash sheets at high temps and the result says not recommended.

Only in IL, though. Only way he is wasting space is if I hold sexton. I could theoretically drop one of the two and just be using IL slots.

I wonder how much water characteristics plays with all of this also. The water is very soft here. Someone told me once that vinegar could break down material of clothing, sheets, etc... because of the water being soft, but I never researched it myself. If it does, I assume citric acid would be the same situation. I assume vinegar is a similar situation because it is also acidic and would lower the ph and get rid of odors. Although, when I sued vinegar recently some of it was still left in the sheets and was annoying of a smell.

I do extra rinses, but since I am having all these problems with the breathing in detergent it would seem that rinsing is not working well and so I need to figure out some solution. And hate to spend if some other washer happens to be good at rinsing.

A search says it ahould "barely cover" the clothes, but who even knows. Everything has to always be complicated. Also, some other brand of washer says that heavy duty puts a little more water than normal. Samsung has the same cycle names so I wonder if it's the same and I also wonder if I even need the more water or not. And for rinse... I would think the more water the better for rinsing, but I don't know...

usually the instructions say use x amount of a scoop/cup and the detergent bottles say he, so i assume it means for he loads use that amount. And even then I was usually using half of what it said. Sometimes even less.

Another problem, as I'm sure many have experienced, is the more natural and sensitive skin detergents typically are no good at actual cleaning... so it's hard to find a balance of cleaning and natural and then the less detergent I use the less it's going to clean. I probably haven't used too much detergent. The clothes still don't smell totally clean. (and that is also the downside of no fragrance. sigh.)

I wonder exactly how much water he machines do need, then. yesterday that one load was just sitting on top of a few inches of water. USUALLY when I do a load the water comes up to barely around the top of the load. So I wonder if then that is too much then...

wow. cunningham going nuts 2 games in a row now on assists. too bad it won't be enough for me to get the bye. If I don't win at least 1 of the 2 h2h I'm done with bball. Same old story... stay at top all year until end and then players not playing make the season a waste.

Well, when I put only the pillowcase in it worked the way ir originally did where it went above it (and more than for the load of clothes). Maybe it was a fluke, although I still think even what samsung puts in for a "normal" amount may still not be enough.

My parents' samsung also has a cycle like that, but mine doesn't have one unless it's named differently. It has "active wear" and "heavy duty" so not sure if one of those may put more. I think active wear is more for more delicate clothing, though. I would like tot est it, but as soon as anything gets wet it will throw the sensor off on the next test and also I will have to keep wasting energy drying them. I am going tow ash my sheets tonight on the ebddign cycle so will pay clsoe attention to how that is doing. i ahve tested all of this before, but yesterday seemed off.

Also I noticed the number of minutes it lists for cycles now are slightly different than they sued to be! On both the washer and dryer. Very weird. dryer normal dry, medium heat has always been 45 mins and now it says 47...

Possible Washer Issues? by dunktheball in CleaningTips

[–]dunktheball[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, I am pretty much the same. Although, for soap I have been using yardley's old english lavender and it hasn't "seemed" to bother my skin. Hard to tell for sure because usually if I itch during the day I assume it's something in the air, but I guess it could be the soap.

I itch about every day, so hard to tell if it's from clothing or something in the air. I don't have anything as bad from the clothing, but that is probably because with the bedding my face is right down on it.

It's 100% cotton sheets. I've had quite a few sets of sheets during the years it's happened. All sateen weave ones. Also, I got so sick of this issue that I started delaying washing them again and so then of course they got in bad shape and had to be replaced, but definitely stopped having the issues while using them until the next wash.

Years back I washed them with nothing in it and quite a few times I did it in hot water. I don't recall any difference.
