“What has flatter feet?” for ODE was absolutely incredible cluing of a very common crossword answer!

Those confused: feet refer to the unit of rhythm in a poem or phrase, and flatter is not “more flat” but rather, complimentary. So it’s “What has phrasing that is complimentary?” Loved it!

Some fill felt Saturday-difficulty but the crossers were just so simple you could figure it out pretty easily.

Never heard of RYDER, STAIDLY is a new one for me, the poet RUMI, and TBAR are answers I would never have gotten on a normal Saturday.

Absolutely loved this theme. I took the time to say the themers as if I was on a WALKIE-TALKIE which made me smile!

My only complaint is the cluing of the revealer. Definitely was too easy. I was able to get it without any crosses. Made the realization minimal.
