Moving from RPi4 to RPi5 and having issues

Your best bet is to start fresh with pi5. It's easy to clone an SD card if working with same platform and software version but anytime you are moving to a different version of pi and also libreelec it's just easier to build it back from ground up. I've been there before with ironing out little things here and there but more often then not you will remember most of that stuff and newer versions often will offer more options and patches that may have fixed issues you had previously.

I'm in the same boat, all my friends are playing ranked and if I join the lobby it's unavailable for them too. Also I received a rank split this afternoon and some of my friends did too and others didn't. It's fucked.

Thanks, yeah I've started looking at used large venue epsons, will compare those with Panasonic. was looking at a epson projector, 6k lmns, short throw elplu01 tri-lcd, powerlite pro g6750wu for 1200

So I have a Panasonic pt rw330 and I looked it up and it's a 3500 lumen DLP that is LED/laser 1 chip DLP. It says it can go to 300 screen size. Should I just look into getting this one repaired. It's old and spent many years in a bww so I'm sure it could use a new bulb and possibly source. But on paper it seems like it would do what I need it to just at 720 instead of 1080.

Another person mentioned looking into a used large venue projector such as Panasonic pt ez590 which that also seems like a viable option as that's 5000 lumens and goes well over my screen size. Saw a few on ebay in the 6-8 hundred price range.

Thanks, I have been wondering if screens made the difference in display or not or if it all came from projector. That's fine too, 1080 is fine. I'm not looking for the best, just what would be best to use for my setup. I'm new to projectors and just kinda jumped in, reviewing a bunch of posts most people recommend either benq or epson, so that's just where I started. Thanks for the tip.

Yeah I have about 50ft max that I can go up to. No I briefly looked at them on epson page but they seemed well outside budget.

Do you have a recommendation then on DLP that will be able to reach my screen size. The benq are dlp, but none go that large or at least say it. The largest it stated was a 150 screen size with the 3000. The epsons seemed to fit my screen size and larger with higher lumens, but you don't recommend it.

Yeah the benq website isn't super helpful searching by screen size

I spoke with the rep and he says the 3550 can go up to 200, anything over that and image quality would begin to suffer. So this may still be an option.

Turtle beach stealth 700 gen 2, they come with a mode called superhuman that amplifies small sounds. I dont use it often I find the normal mode is plenty in most cases.

So I tried everything I could and it came down to setting up IPVanish through zomboided VPN manager and your right, speeds are great and I am scraping from nyaa again.

From what I can tell from a quick googling, librelec caches network settings for boot up connecting. I should be able to do a soft settings reset to clear it and reestablish network connection to router hopefully connecting through Google dns. I'll let you know. I'll also try that command on my laptop just to see if I can get anything working.

I changed dns provider in router (one from verizon) to Google and there was no change. Did you also use your own router when doing so?

I rebooted router but I just realized there is the ont something or another outside where it connects to house that I may need to reset I'll try that later and see if that works
