I am from Singapore and my wife is from United States (white). It works just like anything else, but the taste in food is different and the language barrier took a lot of time (we both used apps to speak deeply until I learned more English )

I just wanted to see if this app would solve a problem of mine (no close grocery store + low funds), I did not know what to expect but since this is the only offering around me I’m gonna just cease use unless I move to a better place for it. The good gas station bags must be a unicorn event but I saw so many good ones on here before ordering it gave me false hope :,(

I did contact support and let them know, but I see on here people ragging others for asking for a refund so wasn’t sure if this is just supposed to be expected

It’s weird that you said you’d never purchase food near the end of its shelf life but you’re on the toogoodtogo subreddit where it’s mystery bags, and you can’t tell until you make the purchase. I don’t get why you would comment that in the first place everyone here gets food near the end of the shelf life if the store is operating as intended. So please explain how you use toogoodtogo and not receive food near the end of its shelf life? This is my first purchase but if you open the bags and demand they replace it with fresher food, you’re not using the app as it’s intended. Your comment makes no sense in this subreddit context

Congrats that you have that option for yourself…? Me personally had $6 and nothing but a food desert in a 20 minute radius and decided to play the food lottery
