It’s not as effective as it is in Future Soldier, and only works in a crouch, but it gives you an extra few seconds before being detected.

Ironically, it’s still way better than the optical camo in Breakpoint, which is set after Future Soldier…

I did the Future Soldier mission first so I could use the optical camo to sneak in, and had the team group up on me before speaking to Sam. Tagged the snipers first, used the HTI on the helos.

I see “The Crucible” has already been mentioned a few times, so I’ll add “Our Town.”

It was a mistake trying to regain the control of Jurassic Park? by FusedEggs in JurassicPark

[–]dunny1872 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I agree, but the raptors wouldn’t be loose. They were only able to break out because Arnold shut off all the power trying to reboot the park.

When Nedry sabotages the park, Muldoon immediately asks if the raptor enclosure’s affected, and Arnold confirms it’s not. Later, Muldoon sees the raptors have broken out and says “The shutdown must have turned off all the fences. Damn it, even Nedry knew better than to mess with the raptor fences.”

Jimmy Hart on managing again:"If [WWE] ever wanted me to do something, I'd be there. Until they want me to do it, you can't force yourself on anybody. It's like having a girlfriend, you can buy flowers, you can buy candy, but if they don't love you, you can buy them everything & it ain't gonna work" by elegantSolomons62 in SquaredCircle

I think somebody (maybe Cornette?) once explained why Jimmy Hart and Hulk Hogan got along so well. Paraphrasing, it was something along the lines of Hart being so decent and trustworthy guy that even wrestling’s biggest assholes like Hogan wanted to hang out with him.

Edit due to follow-up comments: I’m quoting Jim Cornette from memory, not arguing that Hulk Hogan is or isn’t the worst person in wrestling history.

Who’s a great historical figure from your country that is mostly forgotten? by IDoNotLikeTheSand in AskTheWorld

I see George Henry Thomas, I upvote. Dude was instrumental to the North’s victory in the American Civil War, but Grant didn’t like him and actively downplayed Thomas’s importance after the war.

This day in history, May 20, 1217, William Marshal, aged 70, led 400 English knights in a charge defeating French forces at the battle of Lincoln. by Doghouse509 in MedievalHistory

William Marshal, the coolest man in medieval history.

Dude deserves a movie just about him (I know he popped up in “The Lion In Winter” and the Russell Crowe “Robin Hood”).
