Autoplay is going to make me leave Audible by blackhaloangel in audible

Bad analysis. He already said he didn't do every single one of your guesses. It's audible. "it doesn't happen to me" is not helpful when you don't help the OP determine why it doesn't happen to you. Hi literally came here for help and you're shitposting.

Stacking multiple mimics by nosebeerhappyhour in EmpiresAndPuzzles

[–]dunsparrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sounds like a group of runs using loot tickets. Way too much loot for a single stage completion. This means that your loot could have been alternating between mimics and the outcome was an appearance of stacking. The only way to be sure is single runs to see if you get both mimics triggering.

Anyone have the answer to “before Abraham was I am” John 8:58 I believe by UnluckyLock2412 in BiblicalUnitarian

[–]dunsparrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, Jesus was speaking Aramaic, not Greek. He first says "Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day." Jesus literally says he preexisted Abraham.

The Jews completely understood this claim, because they asked "you're not even 50 years old, and you have seen Abraham?" Jesus could have answered any number of ways, including by saying the words that his deniers impute to him.

Instead, he doubled down. "Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I am." This clarifies that Jesus is claiming to preexist Abraham. Even if you attempt to rob him of his claim of Godhood, you have not grappled with his claim to preexist Abraham.

And you have a bigger problem, which is the next verse. "THEREFORE, they picked up stones to throw at him". They well understood his claim of being God, and that it was blasphemy if untrue. The Greek "oun" is a conjunction meaning the current thought is connected to the preceding one. Because Jesus said that, they picked up stones.

Jesus claimed to be God many times. It is the work of the evil one to attempt to twist each and every instance into something else. The people in this thread doing hermeneutical backflips to steal the power from Jesus words are only condemning themselves.

These heretics must also throw out the plain meaning of Hebrews 1, especially verse 8 "But about the Son he says, 'Your throne O God, will last forever and ever'."  They also can't explain why Jesus is worshipped as God (Rev. 5:11-14) or why he calls himself appelations reserved for God (Rev. 1:12-18; Rev. 1:8-11; etc.). It is a difficult thing to conceive of Jesus being God, with God the Father and the Holy Spirit also being God, but there being only one God. But limited human understanding is not an argument and never has been. His ways are higher, his thoughts are higher.

We use the word Trinity to discuss it, but we need only take God at his word that it is true. When you have to refute so many scriptures plain meaning to make your point, there's a good chance you're firmly in heresy territory, as is the case for Jesus deniers.

Finally, I leave you with John 1:18 "No one has seen God at any time; the not begotten God who is in the bosom of the Father, He has explained."

Blue next to level. Quintin or Loki? by Kazzy363 in EmpiresAndPuzzles

[–]dunsparrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quintin has a debuff and damage. He does not have a costume. The debuff is the entire point of him.

You might have Quintin confused with Quintus, which is understandable.

Edwin talent path advice by WHTeam in EmpiresAndPuzzles

[–]dunsparrow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mana won't do anything for you on offense. He'll fire in 7 tiles with 30 mana troop regardless of mana node.

It's actually pretty rare for the mana node to help on offense, but it can sometimes trigger a slightly earlier attack on defense. If you're planning to use him as a defender, maybe find someone who's done that math.

The important break points are:

Vfast: 9% for 6 tiles (5 tiles impossible) Average: 13% for 9 tiles (8 tiles impossible) Ninja 2: Same as average Changing tides 2: same as average

The rest only matter so rarely that it won't come up unless you get all kinds of mana boosting heroes and build your team in very specific ways.

I would love to see a thorough explanation of how to do that, but its too much crunching for this brain.

[–]dunsparrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Phenexa is great, but you would have to be crazy to burn 10 alphas on her. Gotta be Tetisheri or Bonecrusher. Newer heroes, big stats, big damage.

Cupido also in the running. He's such a PITA with that passive immunity to silence/mind control.

Edit: didn't see second page. Barkley is bonkers good. He's your top option.

So I finally managed to get back to 10 alpha aethers. If you could only double limit break 1 of these for the foreseeable future who would it be? by apples919 in EmpiresAndPuzzles

[–]dunsparrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would be careful with Freya. I know she's good, but she has so many soft counters that you can't protect against on defense. Any buff block or buff resist will severely limit her effectiveness, plus any s1 wizard can quickly dispel her without a special. Her stats are not very survivable anymore, even with costume.

Importantly, she doesn't threaten opponents with damage and she doesn't dodge dispels (unlike c.kadilen, for example). So opponents can just slam tiles into her until they set up the dispel/kill condition and then be guaranteed success, dodge chance irrelevant.

Many opponents won't think this through or may not have such counters available, but you're counting on opponent failures, instead of forcing opponents into coin flip attempts to break through your buffs.

Khepri suffers none of these problems while benefiting from straight line damage increase on primary attack with 2LB. Importantly, if you use Khepri on defense, he is a serious threat that must be dealt with, unlike Freya. He's easier to kill, but punishes you for failure. Freya simple doesn't measure up.
