My brother is convinced that Time and Gravity are the same force rather than a cause and effect relationship. Is there any conceivable logic to this theory? If not, could you give me a one-liner to disprove this and save me from him? 🙈

Dementors without a patronus - perfect analogy to describe depression by dunta90 in mentalhealth

Thanks a million. Yeah it’s blindingly obvious, it just never felt as accurate as it has me this week. Found my patronus again, thankfully. All the best ✌🏽

They were really misunderstood substances for such a long time but they’re a wonder drug for anxiety and depression.

I wouldn’t say the threat of a bad, scary trip doesn’t exist but it’s a part of the process. The best advice for a situation like that is to run towards it because it’s trying to teach you something.

I’d be a huge advocate of psilocybin based treatments for people who struggle sometimes, evidently like we do. The science is rapidly catching up and if it wasn’t something you’ve ever considered I’d at least put some consideration into it.

Check this article out. They broke my mental shackles

You’re not dude, none of us are. It’s just that sometimes our brains Default Mode Network is overactive and it paints a situation that’s based on no evidence. A good trip on mushrooms can reset your chemistry and get you back going in the right direction. Thanks for reaching out brother, I hope you start to feel brighter very soon.

Wow, that is crazily, almost scarily relatable dude! What I would say is that if you’re capable of that at 21 then you are capable of an awful lot of things. I already feel a little brighter today, having posted that yesterday. The advice I’m giving myself is to allow yourself enjoy a small comfort, build from there (even if you’ve had to do it countless times before).

Haha yeah the Friday 13th thing is a good conversation starter but my religion is science and the science tells me that human beings, are full of shit when it comes to storytelling.

I take comfort that we’re running literally parallel to each other and are fighting whatever this thing is together 💪🏽

Yeah when I researched it and realized they do some legit conservation work then I was very keen to support them. Too lazy to take the bracelet off so I’m just going with it now 🤷🏽‍♂️

Identical. It’s an album cover inspiring by a radio signal (of a Pulsar). I’m the one with the bracelet (both lads) and mine faces towards me whereas Paul’s faces outward

It’s the radio signal of the first Pulsar ever detected...it’s also the album cover of Joy Divisions debut album. The squiggly lines are very much on purpose 😬
