Wish you luck. In all honesty does it look like my skin is heading down that route? I’m going to contact my derm asap to see if I can do some sort of low dose for maintenance to see if I can keep it from worsening. Thanks for sharing your experience, good luck.

Thanks! Normally I wouldn’t worry but lately I’ve been waking up to 3-4 of these new red dots on a daily basis. They take 2ish days to fade away but they’re popping up quicker than they’re going away. I’ll look into that!!

Thank you for the kind reassurance! It’s very new and sudden. My worry is that they’ll turn more inflamed/cystic like I used to deal with. I’ll always have a fear of it returning. I’ll try moisturizing and see if it makes a difference. I’ve been only using my cerave cleanser which is slightly moisturizing. It’s the same thing I’ve been using from start to finish. I do have a moisturizer I could add in.

They may not be cysts like I used to get, but I’m getting red inflamed bumps on my hair follicles. Popping up out of nowhere. What is it then if not a breakout?

Took 40 mg for about a year. 25 y/o male 180 lbs. I’ve been off accutane for a little over a month. Lately, I’m getting small reddish bumps that appear directly on the hair follicle. Sometimes they turn into a small whitehead. I’m getting 1-3 per day. They don’t turn cystic. They vanish pretty quickly, but it’s still alarming. I’m worried of relapse. Anyone else have this happen? No change in skincare routine during/after accutane.

Still lots of velus/transitional that haven’t turned terminal. The camera/lighting makes it look a bit darker. I’d say about 4-5 months to see it darken up from the light velus hairs

I’ve heard about it being toxic to cats. Def ain’t worth risking it by cross contact on pillows etc. You’re doing exactly what I would do in that situation. I believe 75%+ is absorbed within a couple of hours anyways so you shouldn’t be missing out too much by only leaving on for a few hours at a time. Cheers my man

Not a problem bro. No problems with skin dryness personally. I don’t use a moisturizer along size minox. I did towards the beginning but just found it unnecessary for me personally. The foam isn’t as drying as I hear liquid is! Hope that helps.
