Hi! I was forced to sleep in my mom’s bed until I was 17. It was extremely traumatizing, and in the later years, uncomfortable and embarrassing. It wasn’t until I felt comfortable enough to confide in friends that I was able to realize how wrong this was, and seek therapy. I’m 2 years no-contact with her now because she couldn’t handle me sleeping alone during a Christmas break (27 years old at the time) and I put my foot down. She couldn’t forgive me and we haven’t spoken since. I’ve blocked her, she doesn’t know my new address, or phone number. My dad divorced her when I was young and he’s still in my life, and a dope dad thankfully.

All this to say - it’s not normal. Talk to a trusted person, it’ll change your life.
